Listen to what he has to say.

Hey hey, cool roundup Matt. I’ve recently bought an ssl certificate and am planning to put in on one client’s website. I’ve read a few articles about the “dangers” of putting on https and most of it just looks like inexperience on the part of the webmasters. Getting the WordPress HTTPS plugin and WordPress SEO by Yoast is supposed to work well. Overall amid all of Google’s nonsense this is one thing that is truly good for the internet as a whole :)

Well there is huge risk in the fact all your links point to the http version of the site rather than the https version, be careful.

    Hi Matt,

I love Gary Vee. What a round up.

Found out recently that he sold baseball cards at my local mall….actually, he grew up 1 town over for me in New Jersey. He lived in Edison, me in Plainfield, and we are the same age.

I must have walked by him so many times at the mall. There’s a reason why the man has become world renowned and had $30K under his bed; he exudes passion, but he listens to his audience, he processes feedback, he’s honest, open to suggestions, and he just plain cares.

I’ve made my marketing campaign a combo of his approach, and of Neil Patel’s approach, and Chris Brogan’s approach to building a brand.

Heck I just studied successful people and did what they did. I chose to make an impact wherever I showed up by making friends with influencers, and doing so has helped me grow my new blog fairly quickly over 2 short months.

I’ll dig into each post now; especially Zac’s. Yep, he’s another NJ guy. Even here in Savusavu, Fiji, I gotta remember my roots and all the successful dudes who flowed through my home state, because I continue to learn so much from them.

    Thanks again Matt.

I’ll tweet this in a bit.

    Enjoy your Sunday :)

    Hey Matt,

Thanks for including in your roundup. Some solid resources in there. BTW, thanks for introducing me to Buzzbundle. Fantastic tool. I gave you a shout out in my link building post a few weeks ago. Such a great tool for both link building and content promotion. You still using it on a daily basis?

Wow…. GaryVee is so amazing. I mean honestly: he reveals strategy that some 5th ave agencies with their nice 70 pg slide decks charge you 5 figures as a pitch fee for – and all for free. I have read all his books and he is really a mind blowing eye opening person I look up to. Because he puts selling by the use of social media to a whole new level. Amazing, thanks for the share, Matt
