Thank You for sharing this Video Strategy.
I’ve been following your blog since years ago, and found it very helpful.
I’ve tried to increase traffic in an italian blog with some success in the past, a lot of years ago, and then switched to pay advertisement due to the fact that SEO seems very complicated and constantly changing.
Hopefully your training will be a breathe of fresh air!
Don’t give up on SEO! If you want great results you need to combine both SEO and paid ad.
I hope my strategy and overall blog can help you get back to SEO!
Thanks mathew i love the gems you give out to all us members of the genral public, you certainly are a king amongs kings when it comes helping those of us who are getting to grips with constantly changing seo methods ,just giving you a heads up Thank’ Russ Weaver-uk
No worries – Thank you so much for your kind words!
Hi there. I’m really glad to have found this! I have been blogging for 6 months but I am still utterly clueless with SEO.
Can I ask this question please (it’s been sending me round in circles). I have been trying to do some keyword research in the two main niches I write about, mum life and home education.
Most of the research that I get uses the terms “mom” instead of mum and “homeschool” instead of home education. As I am British and write the terms mum and home education not mom and home school, I can’t work out of the keyword research I am doing is relevant and if I should use it? If that makes any sense?!
Thank you for your help!
Hey Amanda,
Could you tell me which tool you are using to do keyword research?
If you’re targeting UK readers, then you should use British spelling!
I have a few posts that can probably help you out:

Hi Matt,
I’m considering my self as intermediate SEO practicioner (i have able to enter page 1), but still i have struggling to make it top 3. And recently i make another site but i cant say it site since its only a landing page (1 page site). I’m looking a SEO way for landing page. This is why i’m eager to learn your method.
This should help you! Let me know if you have any questions!
Hi Matthew, I have learned SEO for a long time that when I see your quick win SEO so that I want to go struggle with you.
Hello Matthew! From Romania :)
I have a Question about Internal Linking.
I have an local real estate website. I ve been doing on page, tehnical, and link building, but I did not change anythhing în architecture. There are baisc pages whith homes for sale, based on City zone… And I linked from primary pages to all that City zones.
Looking at The most competing website în my niche(wich îs not just local) , I saw they have pillar pages like example.com/city and there on that page are all Internal links between categories for that city.. Etc. Not so much content in that page also..
They rank well, top 10 on most competitive keywords.
And The Question îs.
It îs worthed to change some thing în architecture an Internal links to get a boost, if anythhing else îs done right (on page, tehnical, link building, etc)? Could be a Big change..
And another thing. Linked to this situation. I Think that anchor text for my Internal links Could be more specific and whith focus keyword în use. Right now they are just name of zones of that City. But People look for “apartamente de vânzare zona x” etc. Have some articles about that?
I Would like to now some best practices for Internal linking.. In different situations. E-commerce, blog, local services.
Thank You!
Yes it sounds like they are essentially creating topical relevancy at the category with content and then leveraging that to create internal links. You would use a similar strucutre in an ecommerce environment.
Take a look at https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/on-page/internal-link-building/ to learn more
Hey Matthew I’ve been blogging for the past 13 years but I would really like to learn more about keyword research and finding the keywords my site could rank for. Where should I start to master keyword research? I’ve also been using Rank Math to help with onpage SEO and even got Squirrly to further optimise. What are your thoughts on those two plugins?
Hey Felix!
You should start by reading this https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/keywords/research/ and then, jump from posts to posts.
I also have a dedicated playlist section here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTlEVVB75wo&list=PLL2yjHxp-57SC93mIcI_Hd7KarnHqMSqt
About the plugins:
Rank Math is great. I use it on my blog. For Squirrly, I can’t tell you much, I haven’t tried it yet.
Hi Matthew,
My site is about 15 months old. I have done quite a lot of work on it and I still get less than 200 organic searches a month. I really need consistent traffic, majorly organic. Other sites in my niche are already getting 50k monthly organic traffic in just two years! I’d really love to know what I’m not doing right.
Hey Judith,
It’s tough for me to tell what ‘wrong’ with your site without doing in-depth site analysis.
But what I can suggest to you is to do a complete site audit following this advice https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/on-page/seo-audit/
Also, I recommend you to watch my Unboxed SEO video series that help website like yours fixing their SEO issues to increase their traffic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCHOCzd5roo&list=PLL2yjHxp-57SexR4UEUaDc2o3fmt8b__-

Big fan mate,
I run an online marketing review site but would like to start to grow that site by creating free training both written and video, the site is over 6 years old and while i make the first page for most reviews on Warrior Plus or Jvzoo I don’t always get the top spot…funnily enough a friend who creates a lot less content in his reviews and has a newer domain always seems to hit the number 1 spot…which for years was always mine.
As I work full time online I would like to take my site to the next level and start ranking for harder reviews such as ARs, hosting etc.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
PS. For review posts I mainly rely on social syndication

Hi I am loving these videos, but I have a question. While i was browsing the Internet about blogs(this was when I first came across them) I found black hat seo.I browsed the internet for the meaning but my brain juts won’t register it so I don’t understand .I was wondering if you could explain it as you are easy to understand.

I am just confused about forum link building, its good or bad
Hey Gaurav! That’s a good question. It’s good if you do it right. If you abuse this strategy then it can be bad for your site. Meaning: you can get penalized.
Tips: You always need to be careful with link building strategies.
I’m waiting for tomorrow video and I hope to hire your team after getting some income from my site. I really want to maximize my sales.
Good luck Linda! Tell me if you need help with anything!

Our company has a minimal website that lacks content and I’m asked every week why numbers aren’t improving. I have advised them that the site is stagnant and needs content to get people to want to visit our site and check out new, relevant information. I plan to provide a new wire frame idea for our site but will need content experts to help populate it. Plan to redesign sections but am understaffed. We have designers on staff that I can only get for approximately 16 hours a week who will need to create videos. Most of those videos will go to a membership page so won’t help much with SEO. Plan to use teasers videos on organic social media and website so will help some.
I also need a better way to communicate the importance of what needs to be done and why. I understand but sometimes I’m amazed they don’t. Can you advise how to better show the tracking results from Goolge analytics? Or is there a better tool to use instead.
Any advice is appreciated.
No problem at all – take a look at this video https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/unboxed/no-search-traffic-content-or-links/ which steps you through the process someone in your position should follow

Hi, my website is around 8 years old and I’ve followed SEO that I have learnt from the start. I’ve been adding more content, but the site visitors don’t grow. I will be interested to see your videos to see if I can increase it.
Hope it’ll work for you!
I also have some more advice for you…
To generate traffic and grow your site you need:
– Relevant keywords
– Great & unique content
– High-quality backlinks
In this order.
And, if you think you have everything right then you really need to check your SEO foundation:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCHOCzd5roo
Because if your site isn’t growing after 8 years, you probably have issues in some of these categories…
Thank you, I will check out the video link.
It’s been September 2020. I have started blog on gardening with all original content. I just have 1 or 2 organic search results a month. Pls help me to grow traffic.
The success of a blog/website is based on:
Having a good SEO foundation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCHOCzd5roo
Picking the right keywords: https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/keywords/research/
Writing unique and optimize content based on your keywords: https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/on-page/website-content/
Building links: https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/link-building/strategies/
if you got everything right, you can start my quick win SEO process!
Hello Sir! my website mobile speed is around 47-50 in page speed insights, and i am tryong to learn SEO, i have optmized my blogposts. But please help me sir in getting traffic, i am getting very low traffic.
Hey! First, take care of your speed. On my Youtube channel, I have a least 3 or 4 video explaining how to fix it easily.
Then, I recommend you check your SEO foundation thanks to this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCHOCzd5roo
Once you get that right, you need to investigate your keyword, content and backlinks to see if there are any issues there.
These elements are usually overlooked by people but it’s a mistake. You need to get all the basics right if you want to get traffic and ranking.
One you’ve done that you can start my quick win SEO process!;)
Hi, Matthew, just connected up and saw your video above…I am new to SEO and also (soon) to affiliate marketing so looking forward to receiving your videos and further info on how you can help and advise me on my lead gen/affiliate journey
many thanks

Glad you signed up for my quick SEO process. Let me know if you have any questions, I would be happy to help!
I have always enjoyed watching your tutorial videos to educate me on SEO lingo etc… I actually engage an SEO consultant but over the journey, the accepted /agreed volume of SEO organic search benchmark metric continues to fall and while I acknowledge there is no guarantee that SEO activities will result in the desired outcomes…The feedback I’m given is in SEO jargon and the blaming of Google algorithms and no taking responsibility for the metric numbers decreasing has caused me to review our working arrangement and the money I invest in him to keep my business on page 1 (very local). Your video resonated with me and I look forward to watching the remainder of your video collection.
Thanks Greg! Yeah I have no time for jargon, all action!
Hey Greg! Hmm if the SEO consultant you hired isn’t giving you any results and try to put his failure on the Google algorithm’s back, then you should probably hired another one!
Glad you signed up to my quick win seo process though. Hope it heps!

I’m beginner.I want to start seo for a technology related website (under contraction).I’m thinking of buying GSA SER for link building.I don’t know what is SEO strategy,And how i will setup a strategy?
Thankyou
Hey! A good SEO strategy is based on 3 elements:
1. Good foundation- You want a site that works well, is fast and great on mobile devices with optimized pages, etc
2. Unique Content – You need to have unique content that attacks people
3. When you have these elements right, I suggest you follow my quick win SEO process.
4. And THEN, you can start link building. If you do that before you’re just going to waste your time and money.
I also suggest you have a look at my youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/c/MatthewWoodward/featured you will find everything you need to get started! Good luck.
Hello, How can I increase the DA and PA of my website it is only 5 and 10 respectively and increase the traffic and sales on my e-Commerce website Please guide.
Thanks
Hey Dolly, you should watch this video- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCHOCzd5roo&t
Basically, I took an e-commerce site and uncovered all the SEO problems I found (and that are common to most sites).
Then I showed how to fix those issues to increase traffic and revenue.
All you have to do is: watch the video and apply what you learn and this should do the trick! :)
I have a mental health website and I struggle to rank against some of the giants in the field, and it often feels as if every topic under the sun has already been written about. I struggle to find keywords that aren’t already dominated. As my blog is more about information and less about products or sales, I wonder if there are specific strategies I should be using that, say, an ecommerce site would not. Any ideas about this? I have really focused on EAT and I have the qualifications to write about the things I do. I have seen success, but many personal bloggers who just use social media it seems blow me out of the water in terms of traffic.
Ok in that case I highly suggest you watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3hvuqWPsK4M where we had exactly the same problem but in the weight loss niche!
nice awesome experience
Thanks :)
Yes
Hello, I created 2 websites, in this moment I have ready to launch one of them, I’m struggling in 2 pages (About us and projects) no projects because I didn’t start :S. Anyway, about the current situation I decided to do all by myself, so SEO part it’s my step this week. And I thought to follow all your videos+all the advice you gave her to all the people, I hope it can help me.
Thanks for you web,blog, etc
I arrived here when I was reading something about other “guru” like you :)
Wish you good luck, Laura! And if you have any questions, I would be happy to help!
So my strategy is building out focus pages (some people refer to this as cornerstone content) and building out supporting articles that I link internally to on my focus page which further explain the topic at hand. Those supporting articles then link back to my focus page creating a loop. The more I can build out these topics the better but I have seen some small results so far ( this is a new blog) so I believe I’m headed in the right direction. Finding the right keywords to target has been difficult as it seems the competition in this niche is fierce. What SEO tools would you recommend for research for someone on a budget?
That a good question. In this article, you have several options with different price range – https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/keywords/keyword-research-tools/
I need to increase my website traffic. Can you give me a suggestion?
To increase (or generate) traffic to your site you need:
1- Relevant keywords
2- Great & unique content
3- High-quality backlinks
In this order.
But first, you need to make sure that your SEO foundation is good:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCHOCzd5roo
Then, you need to find the right keywords: https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/keywords/research/
After that, you can focus on content creation: https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/on-page/website-content/
Once you get all this right, you can start building backlinks: https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/link-building/strategies/
If you follow my advice, you should see positive changes/results :)
Just signed up for this series so thanks for the information in advance and I look forward to receiving the email getting to work on it.
Glad to hear that! Good luck and let me know if you have any questions :)
we are setting up a virtual store. I already did this in 2010, with relative success. I will try to repeat the same trick from that time. In addition to needing to update myself, this time I want to do better. We started a few weeks ago, at this moment we already have the virtual store on the air, a blog and social networks ready.
Good start. I suggest you read this as well – https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/ecommerce/
Looking forward to the next video. I really need to get my site bringing in some sales. Hopefully with your advice I can achieve this.
Thank you Matthew.

No worries Nitin! Wish you good luck and let me know if you have any questions. :)
Hi Matthew,
I am trying to increase my search traffic and clicks. Your video series will help me to do so.
I am waiting.
Hope the video series helps!
Hi Matthew,
Very much looking forward to your videos and learning how to increase traffic for one basic reason… I’m not getting any!
I’m in the process of building an Amazon affiliate site in the archery niche, my site has only been up for around 5 months and I have 12 or so articles so far.
All my keywords are low competition and as a result, low search numbers.
I currently do not do any link building.
I’m doing everything strictly by the book as my goal is to build a site that will provide a passive income for a long time so I don’t mind ‘going it slow’ as long as I get to where I want to go at some time in the future.
Looking forward to your next video Matthew.
Best,
Peter

Very first website built on Shopify. Trying to get into SEO as Facebook marketing has so far been insanely expensive and
Yes pay close attention to how that Facebook traffic performs in Google Analytics, it often bounces and has zero time on page.
You can also look at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCHOCzd5roo for some advice or https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/ecommerce/
Hi Mathew
I have many keywords that are stuck from position 5 to page 2.
Any techniques I can use to help push these keywords to top positions?
In that case build more links to your homepage to build authority and build an equal amount to the most important inner pages that are stuck.
Please see https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/link-building/strategies/ or https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/link-building/services/
Thank you, Matthew. I love your tutorials and have learnt so much from them. Still haven’t fathomed how to get more traffic to my site, but haven’t given up. There must be something I am missing but feel that I will crack the code one day soon….
Follow through this process, you’ll be fine :)
Hi Matthew. I like your videos and think them useful – until a point, where only money can help. I handmade a site, in the past year, it is very fast, often loads in about 1-2 sec on desktop and 3 sec on mobile. GTmetrix, Ahrefs, PageSpeed Insight, Webpagetest all shows 90-100% quality and speed. The pages have all good things, h1, h2, alt-tags, inner links, images, more or less enough text. All pages are mobile-friendly, indexed. Have all social media profiles. I collected some strongish backlinks, like 40 of them (this much I could get naturally so far). Everything is kinda perfect, except for one thing. I have zero traffic. I reached a point where I start to think, that only hundreds or thousands of backlinks can make my site appear on Google, and that makes me a little disappointed. My site was made from zero cost, but 365 days of my time. I have no money left after one year of building up the site. I didn’t know web development or SEO at all before. I feel I have done what I could. What you think, is there a slight chance to appear on google without buying backlinks for thousands of dollars if I target highly competitive keywords? I know, another option is to target less competitive keywords, but if I’d rank on some gibberish keyword, then that doesn’t make me a profit… Or, alternatively, I can find a job. Don’t you have any vacancies? I worked in the UK in the past decade.
Highly competitive keywords require significant budget to compete. Companies are usually investing huge amounts of money to grow their link profiles every month so it’s better to target more specific, higher converting keywords and grow from there.

Hello Matthew, I have taught myself SEO and I have gotten some 1st-page results but mostly I am frustrated. One of the biggest factors seems to be the Google score number (can’t remember what it’s really called). What factors are influencing the number? The other tough issue is how to get links. It would be wonderful if you would do a video on link building.
Thankyou for your help!
Ron Ratoff
Hey Ron! You need to please Google if you want to rank and this is how to do it https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/google-ranking-factors/.
I also have a bunch of link building strategies over there https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/ in the link building section.
Hope it helps!
Your a good man brother
Thank you so much, Sajjad Bawa!
I’ve been trying everything to get traffic, I have spent a ridiculous amount of money of these “rank quick” apps and software and none of them not one has done what advertised, I make make pretty decent videos and blog sites and try to use YouTube to drive traffic to my blog but can’t get the traffic, It’s the vital missing piece!!! So I’m up for anything that won’t cost me even more money to achieve results.
Hey Simon! Hope my strategy will work for you. Let me know if you have any questions.
Hey Matthew,
Thanks so much for this introduction to quick win SEO.
My first experience with trying SEO “for real” involved getting a subscription to a paid tool (a good one, too!), doing keyword research on long tail keywords, then writing targeted content around those keywords.
I saw a tiny bump in the following weeks and months, but nowhere near what I was hoping for.
Then, I also used the on-page SEO optimization tweaks, as well as submitting sitemaps through Google Search Console.
I saw what appeared to be small bumps, but no big wins.
It’s about 6 months later, and what I’ve been looking at now is genuinely engaging with the community in the intersection of the niches I’m interested in (behavioral science + conversion copywriting for lead generation and selling that as a packaged service.)
Also this: link building.
Looking forward to learning more and thank you so much for being so generous with your time and knowledge!
Th

I have a website that has had more hits this year since lockdown, I now blog to try and get more coverage, and try to think keywords in those blogs, but it’s not really making that much difference quickly enough. not sure if I am missing the tricks as I don’t really understand SEO
Ok just follow the steps and see if you have any existing opportunities. If not – write me again and I’ll step you through it!
My problem is that I can get my keywords to the top of page 2 but I find it hard to break onto the top page and rank against the likes of yellowpages. Also would you recommend surfer seo?
Thanks
Ahhh in that case you are probably lacking a little bit of link building, please take a look at this webinar https://event.webinarjam.com/register/11/ko7nlu3 specifically the case studies at the end which tackles your specific problem.
How would generate the initial traffic for a digital marketing agency website that is brand-new? I am thinking about expert roundups and social media marketing but would appreciate your input as well.
Do you want traffic or leads?
If it’s leads – then publish case studies.
What’s the difference between traffic and leads?
And how case studies help in leads?
Sorry to ask such a silly question.
The silly questions are the ones you don’t ask ;)
The main difference between leads and your traffic is that the “lead” has the potential of becoming a customer of your business, while the “traffic” might have just chanced upon your website while looking for something.
Wow am intrigued, I have a website https://criticalinfo.com.ng and am struggling with getting the right keywords for it. Any help with that?

Before starting this strategy, make sure your SEO foundation is good.
Issues on your SEO foundation can explain why you don’t get traffic to your site.

Hello, my google organic traffic is virtually NIL, yet my site scores 91% SEO and 299 backlinks on ubersuggest website audit report. What else to do, please?
Hey Alexander!
To generate traffic to your site you need:
1- Relevant keywords
2- Great & unique content
3- High-quality backlinks
In this order.
But first, you need to make sure that your SEO foundation is good:

You probably have issues with one of these factors if you don’t get any traffic…
Wow this blog is very nice …
Thank you, Jorge :)

Hello Sir i want ranking in google show good and esy way please
There isn’t any “good and easy way” to rank.. sorry, but ranking a website in Google is a lot of hard work.
There are strategies like my “quick win SEO process” that can give you a little push, but there is a lot more beyond that.

Hi Matt
I have “Best Time To Cruise Alaska” adsence information website with pretty good info.
The covid 19 pandemic sure put a hurting on this industry,my ranking has held at 15 for
sometime now.
Been thinking about dumping the site or maybe sticking it out.
Need a professionally opinion for the long run.
Thanks Mike
On the long run it’s worth sticking it out – theres also a lot of benefit in terms of SEO right now in that everyone has scaled back in travel.
So before when you were building 10 links your competitor was building 12, now they are building zero which means it’s much easier to establish position than before. It just depends where you want to be in the stack when things come back.
Hey Matthew, Hope you are having a great day. I often get confused in terms of selling backlink service. Back in days, there were web 2.0’s, forum profiles all kinds of stuff. I could easily say, I will build 10 web 2.0 for $## .
But now, link building is more like a relationship. Good quality links do not come with any guarantee. I outreach to a blogger or writer he/she may or may not respond to me. It is so uncertain.
My question is top SEOs like you, how do you manage these things? Let’s say, you committed your client 5 high DA link a month. It is possible, you may get less than 5 in that month or even more than 5 a month. How do you manage this situation?
I have an internal team that is managed with PitchBox but most people outsource this using one of the more reliable services https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/link-building/services/
Nice Info! about SEO, I get a lot of the best information and get the best results…
That’s because of your hard work, keep it going!
Hey Matthew,I’m looking forward to hearing about your quick results SEO strategy. I have been having trouble getting traffic to my site I have almost 60 articles on my site and I’m only getting a little over 100 page views per month. I think that I didn’t choose the right keywords and I don’t have any backlinks whatsoever. The articles on my site have an average age of about 5 months. Any advice to increase traffic?
Hey Aldean!

Hey Scott! It depends- What the purpose of your blog/site?

You need a solid SEO foundation before applying the quick win SEO process, otherwise, it won’t work.

Hey Matt
My questions are related to local SEO.
Do you have an Audit checklist for local SEO? What are your preferred local SEO audit tools? and have you found any great ways to automate the local SEO audit process? (for example automatic download of data/ metrics into excel?)

Hello Matthew,
I enjoyed the intro video, you make it sound very easy………I do NOT have a website of any description, I did try setting one up once, with a domain name, but never got any further, I am a total non techy, and would like to earn some money online, but I have no idea how to set it up, as for traffic……I am in the “mushroom” state, completely in the dark. Any help would be gratefully received.

So, can you suggest to me how can I increase the traffic on my website?
Thanks!

Hi Matthew
Hi Matthew. Came across this when I was researching for information on keyword research for our brand new site that we are just about to put up. The site will give the essential information about tools that newbiew affiliate marketers need to get started online. Your site would be ideal for us to send people to for their SEO needs, do you do any JV’s or affiliate sites? Please let me know. Maybe we could have a discussion. But back to our SEO what do we need to do?
Thanks again, I’m certainly going to watch all the videos.
No problem I hope the series helps you out and don’t forget you can repeat the process every 90 days.
I dont have any affiliate type stuff though sorry. Despite being a very succesful affiliate myself, I want my business to stand out on their own merit – not because they pay a good commission!
Hi Mathew,
Great info. I have an Amazon affiliate website. It’s already 1.6 years old and organic traffic is very less like sometimes it’s 1visitors a day . I tried installing yoast SEO plugin and optimised my website and also built some backlinks. But organic traffic is very poor. I will be very grateful of you could take a look at my website and advise how to increase my website organic traffic.
Thanks you,
On the surface it looks like you have built a pretty solid base, I would first of all just make sure it’s faster via https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/on-page/increase-website-speed/
Then start building links using-

Hey, I would love to learn more about link building for my blog in the make money online niche.
There you go https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/link-building/strategies/
Still waiting for the second video.
Since when?
Many of my Life Science clients tend to have low volume keywords <300 a month. In those cases what volume minimum and difficulty scores should I consider tracking keyword position and optimizing for?
I would just look at search volume 10 and above
Hello Matthew. I’m very interested in buying your courses. You seem to have a lot of knowledge. However, I haven’t received any emails from you. is the system broken ?
Hey Omar! No, it’s not- Could you check your spams, please?
Hi Matthew
Great info. The website I have just started working on has no strategic keywords because it hasn’t yet been optimised. What would you recommend?
Thanks
Lucy
Hey Lucy! I recommend to optimize your keywords first and then, start this process :)
Hi,
I am using Yoast plugin and what ever basic SEO I know, I have trying that on my blog but I am yet to see any result as far ranking in search engines are concerned. I came to know you through Blogginglift and wish to learn some spart tactics that will help me learn and rank my blog in SERPs.
Ok in that case you likely need to focus on-
1) Content https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/on-page/website-content/ and https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/on-page/seo-copywriting/
2) Site speed https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/on-page/increase-website-speed/
3) And FINALLY, link building – https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/link-building/strategies/
Hi Matthew,
Since you have put up a question on how my website is faring with SEO, I would like go say that I am doing poorly or measly. You can see for yourself when you visit my site and browse through it. As you are an expert on SEO( I have been reading your articles as well as watching to your videos), I am sure you can guide me to increasing my traffic. Maybe my niche- a health care site- may not be that attractive. Do analyse and let me know my drawbacks. Thank you.
Hey! Health is one of the most competitive niches out there, this is why a lot of people struggle to get traffic in this niche.
First, I suggest you complete a full SEO audit https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/on-page/seo-audit/ to detect any SEO problems and fix them, and then, I recommend you to follow my video series to generate traffic.
What do you think?
Hi, I can’t wait to watch the next video. I hope this videos will help me on my struggling site.. Thanks a lot.

Yes ultimately SEO boils down to a solid foundation (fast site, clean, simple to navigate, mobile responsive etc) + content that engages your target audience + links!
That’s all there is to it from a top down level!
Can’t wait to get the tool and start using it to get more traffic to my sites. Thanks for this brow
Thanks, Matthew
No problem! Hope it works for you!
I appreciate all of the thorough knowledge and explanations in your information. You mentioned building a private blog network in the DHG video but I can’t seem to find it anywhere.
You are looking for resources on building a private blog network?
Yes. You mentioned it in a video I watched regarding Domain Hunter but I don’t seem to see it anywhere.
Ok then this might help: https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/link-building/web-2-private-blog-network/
Let me know!
I’m so much surprised to hear you about an increase of 67% traffic within one month. I’m actually finding such a method to boost my site traffic. But I’m at the beginning level and don’t have enough knowledge to rank my site and increase the traffic. Kindly share with me your secrets tips. Thanks in anticipation.
The quick win SEO process is actionable for newbies as well as professionals, so give it a try and tell me how it goes! :)
I really hope this will help my site which it’s been on a steady decline since the May update in terms of organic traffic. New content added, new backlinks but nothing seems to help. I did a backlink detox recently which I’m hoping will help to recover lost rankings and traffic. Looking forward to the second video.
Make sure your listing company info, address and phone number in key places and in strucutred data.
Hey Kat – Backlink detox is always a good idea!
Have you also check for a Google Penalty? That can happen when there is a new update.
Have a look at https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/tools/google-penalty-checker/
You can also realize a full SEO audit to detect any SEO issues that can cause your loss of traffic:
https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/on-page/seo-audit/
Good luck with the process!
Looking forward to using the SEO strategy tool and receiving the remaining videos
Glad to hear that! Wish you good luck!
I am newbie in SEO how can I start my process please guide me
By trying to rank an easy keyword!
Right now I am looking for SEO quick wins for B2B company that is working in financial business (accepting credit cards solution). Problem is, that we reside in Europe and servers are located in Atlanta. Our website is tragically slow. There is possibility for some improvements reg. speed, but not much unfortunately. I personally see also problem with not enough landing pages dedicated to strategic keywords. I am trying to push for Product landing pages (each type of Payment terminal should have dedicated landing page) as all our products are just sumarized on one page “chose terminal”. Our organic is approx 10-16% (based on country – we have web in 4 countries currently). I would be happy to have some hint about planned budget for SEO activities and if there are some really quick wins with reasonable budget, I will be happy. Currently we are activating GSC and than Yandex and Bing webmasters tools. I have Semrush account. So – here I am – waiting for the golden advice:)
-dasa-
Honestly it already sounds like you know what you need to do but are being held by internal politics and red tape.
Take care of site speed and then work through the quick win SEO process to see what opportunites you have. Other than that though, you already know what to do.
Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to the next video.
Cheers!

Hey Matt’s, I am a new guy in the town of digital marketing and Seo. Infact just get certified now and am looking forward to learning the essentials from experts after understanding the basics. Looking forward to learning from you
Hey Abiodun- Welcome to the SEO world! Glad you found my blog.
Let me know if you have any question about the quick win SEO process or anything else, I would be happy to help!
Hello Matthew! Great video. I have a couple of questions. I’m a homeschooling mom and struggling financially. I really want to create a website based on my passion- Natural Health, and make a passive income online with it. Since I am not able to pay for hosting, I am now starting to create a free blog on WordPress.com (I purchased a custom domain for it).
My question is, Can I follow your SEO advice on a free WordPress.com blog and still be successful in creating some passive income? Am I wasting my time?
Also, I was thinking that if I start making some income I could then transfer my free WordPress.com blog to a hosted WordPress.org site, since then I will be able to afford the hosting. What are your thoughts on this?
I’ve heard many experts say that if you want to be successful and you want to rank on the first page of Google that you need to stay away from super competitive niches like health, that have high domain authority sites ranking on Google.
Since natural health is my passion (I’ve been a natural health researcher for over a decade) that is the one thing that I want to write about, and what I want to be known for. Since this niche is so competitive and hard to rank, should I choose another niche to make passive income with, even though natural health is what I want to do?
Honestly I wouldnt waste your time on a free blog.
Wait until you can set something up on a real domain with self hosted WordPress. The most affordable option is a shared hosting provider like https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/blogging/reviews/a2-hosting/
Otherwise when you transition from your free wordpress blog to a real blog – you lose all of your momentum from an SEO perspective and be starting from scratch again.
I realized that I got only one post scoring over 750 views daily, but I can’t replicate it with other posts.
I tried finding why that particular post did well but nothing came out of it.
Hey Egbah – if you don’t generate traffic on the other posts, I suggest you look at:
– The keywords you’re using -> Maybe they don’t match with what people are searching for on SERPs – https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/keywords/research/
– Your content -> Is it good enough? – https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/on-page/website-content/
– Your backlinks profile -> Do you have relevant backlinks pointing to your posts? – https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/link-building/
– Your on-page SEO -> https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/on-page/checklist/
And of course, I recommend you to follow the video series till the end and see if you notice any positive changes!
Hope it helps.
Hi Matthew, I’m very curios for tomorrow news.
I have a personnal challenge in scale my SERP results.
Thanks
Please tell me more about your challenge and perhaps I can help
thx
No problem!
SEO seems simple enough. Find words and phrases with high search volume and use them. I found it to be much more complicated than that. Thank you for sharing your expertise.
No problem, Aaron!
Hey Matthew, what’s your best advice for keyword strategy in a very niche market where there is low search volume spread across a variety of market sectors. We have recently moved our blogs to a subdomain which is not ideal but not something that can be changed overnight unfortunately Thanks :)
Move your blogs back to a subfolder before wasting any more time, money or resources on SEO.
Thank you!
Thank you Matthew for being such a ‘giver’ in our community. I’ve increased my search traffic by 40% since I started implementing your strategies. Thanks again – Bill
Thanks for sticking through it all :)
Hi Matthew
I own six dating websites. The traffic and revenue increased by 45% since I took this advice. Truth is, I only applied the simpler actions and my search positions improved hugely. I am now at #1, #2 or #3 for over 30, good potential, search terms.
Thank you for putting this stuff together. Really appreciate the difference you have made to my online business :)
Thats amazing to hear congratulations on your success! Keep it going!
Hi, I work in the gaming sector and a lot of my keywords I want to rank for are position 40 or higher. The site does not have a lot of traffic will this tool still be able to help identify the keywords that can be improved?
Yes you might be surprised what you are ranking for accidently!
In a ridiculous business where the competition, like selling day tours or hiring cars, would it not be near impossible to shine through in organic search results?
None of that sounds competitive to me on a localised level, you just need a solid strategy. Theres always opportunities!
Hi Mathew,
Really appreciate the simplicity with which you explain the To Dos. My problem is, I have got a website which is fully loaded with great content (services & blogs) as well. Somehow, we lack good traffic from search engines. Paid ads have worked fine, but then thats about it. Would really like to know the best keyword research strategy for blogging topics.
There you go: https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/keywords/keyword-research-template/
hi,
This is really a helpful video. I struggle with the rank increase and don’t know how in the last three months Google Search Console shows searching data is zero. The bad thing is I don’t know how o come this and how to fix it.
is there any way or tool that can check it out?
Appreciate your time!
Hey Lee – This might help you out: https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/tools/google-penalty-checker/ – Let me know!
Please give me some high D.A blogs for free..
Impossible without knowing your niche…
Hi, there Matt.
I’m rebuilding our website and use yoast seo tools on it.
It always “advertise” that I’m missing this and that ond of curse they’ll show me if I buy premium tools.
Hope to learn what I’m missing via this video series.
Hope this video series will help you out! Let me know.
I’ve not tried any SEO strategy and looking forward to learning and implementing what I can to grow our business through this challenging time. What’s even more amazing in all the information, responses, videos and resources in this comment feed.
Hey John – Thank you, I do my best to help/answer all the questions so everyone can benefit from them.
Yes, I’ve been struggling to put all the pieces of the puzzle together.
I currently use Jaaxy as my keyword research tool. Do you recommend Jaaxy?
Hey Lauren, I personally don’t use Jaaxy. These are the tools that I use & recommend: https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/keywords/keyword-research-tools/
Hello Matthew! I am an avid fan of your email newsletters.
My problem is with a sudden website traffic drop after changing CMS from Magento to Shopify
Before anything else, there are two domain versions of a website: a .com, and .com.au version. Just two months ago, we used to only have one domain, which is the .com domain, and I built this site at Magento. Then we moved the website to Shopify, so we rebuilt the website on Shopify.
When we did that, what I found out with Shopify has something to do with the pricing concerns of the platform which prompted us to make a .com.au version on top of the .com initial version of the website.
So, for the clients, if we are going to show them pricing in US Dollars we need to redirect them to the .com domain, if we have to show them product pricing in AU dollars, allegedly, we need to redirect them conveniently to the .com.au domain.
So, what I’ve done, as their website manager, is duplicate the domain .com and .com.au. So I can have USD pricing for clients at .com and AUD pricing for the clients at .com.au.
What we did was, we redirected most of the links to the .com.au domain when I re-launched the website because the .com.au domain is brand new, and we want it to get indexed.
For at least 4-5 weeks, this seems to have worked for both sites as they were indexed without issues.
My concern though is that the .com version, as reported by GSC, has several pages valid pages record which is more than the actual number of pages on the .com version of the website.
Please see attached screenshot https://prnt.sc/uky6o3
Meanwhile, the .com.au version, still being reported by GSC, only shows a few 100 pages, which is a more realistic account of the actual number of pages on the website.
Please see attached screenshot https://prnt.sc/uky9gp
Additionally, we changed to redirect so that the previous URL on the Magento CMS redirected to the .com.au domain on Shopify. We changed those redirects to point to the .com domain because we wanted to get these pages to rank better since there is more traffic in the US.
So we wanted to get the traffic for the rankings of these ones more compared in Australia because Australia seems to stop ranking quite well and quite quickly, so we push them back to this one so that they should start to rank.
The problem now is that these pages are not ranking very well at all. They are not being indexed properly. When you check it at google search console, it says not indexed. But, if you are going to search it on the google search engine, it will appear and stated as indexed. Moreover, the keywords are previously ranking for the wrong pages.
Please, I appreciate whatever input you can provide for this dilemma. Thank you so very much in advance Matthew!
Tony,
Your problems are far and wide. For me to diagnose these properly would require signicant time so if you would like my professional opinion please book a consultation session via https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/consultant/ and I’ll take a close look for you then report my findings on the call.
To me though it sounds like the business is in havoc because of a limitation in shopify which has forced to you to clone sites across domains which then wreaks havoc across your entire SEO base.
If you are going to run duplicate sites, they must each house entirely unique content and not just be 1:1 copues of each other. You could use canonical tags but I wouldnt take that risk and would just do it right.
Thanks
thank for sharing this update. It’s very helpful Mathew.
Great! Have you tried it yet?
Hello Sir, Thanks for share information about SEO, I want to know about the spam score. How I judge that what % of spam score website is good for make backlinks.
Moz show 30% spam score in the green zone. is we can make backlinks on 305 spam score websites?
I don’t use this metric or Moz data so I can’t give you an accurate answer sorry
I hav’nt tried any SEO yet but since I joined you I have learnt a lot. I am learning everyday and have started my own blog. I am just confused on which niche to write. please help me.
Hey Andaleeb – I suggest you read this https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/blogging/how-to-start-a-blog/
It should help you determine your niche :)
I work for a client in the UK in the vape/ eliquid market. Evidently there are no paid advertising opportunities available for this industry due to prohibited products. A new site with better ui/ux has been accomplished. Along with that a lot of On Page SEO has been done to gain more traffic.
Although this has worked, it is a very dominated market and a long process.
What advice do you have for this type of sector?
Yes this sector is heavily driven by link profile so I suggest you invest there because it looks like you have the fundamentals down already.
You can do that with https://linksthatrank.com/ or any of the link building strategies listed here https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/link-building/strategies/
Thanks Matthew, looking forward to getting started. I’m just picking this up after saving it a while ago. Struggling with traffic to my new site.
No problem Emma – Let me know if you have any questions!
Hi I need help to increase my search traffic

The page looks a bit light on content, I would suggest taking a look at the top 3 ranking pages for the target keyword to see if theres a gap to bridge.
Other than that please follow the quick win process, specifically the Surfer bit which will help you a lot.
Let me know the easiest way of createing do follow and no follow backlinks.
Easiest way? https://linksthatrank.com/
Cheapest way? https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/link-building/strategies/
Hi Matthew
I’ve been a photographer for about 6 years now and I’ve always struggled to get the word out there and I’ve used various sites to host my own photo’s. I’ve just published my first book, exclusive to Amazon but it’s in paperback and ebook form so now I want to get the word out about that. I just don’t want to shell out more than my small amount of profits. Any advice would be appreciated thanks.
I would suggest you build a dedicated mini site thats all about your book with the one goal of selling your book. You should be able to find some free “book templates” for WordPress that do that.
Helpful information
No problem Alberto!
Hi, do you have any idea how to rank great in a highly competitive sex toy e-commerce niche? It seems so hard to rank.
Yes, actually one of our fastest growing clients over the Coronavirus period is in this niche in the UK. The hardest part is the link building.
Hi Matthew,
Thanks for sharing this video serie with us.
I didn’t used any SEO quick win tool yet, so I hope learn it from you.
Thanks again
Sergio
No problem please let me know how you get on with it!
Hi Matthew :)
I have hit a bit of a wobble in the last few months due to Covid. I used to only offer Reputation Management, but now find myself wanting to also offer affordable Local SEO packages to clients.
I would like to first get your opinion on Local SEO VS SEO? I don’t want to charge customers an arm and a leg (due to small businesses barely surviving) which is why I’m leaning more towards Local SEO.
Your input would be much appreciated as I am going in circles.
Thank you in advance :)
If you could design your perfect client, would they have a small budget or a big budget?
Local SEO tends to lead to a lot of low budget clients. Obviously there are some gems, but you are setting a lower ceiling from the offset.
Hello there. I am writing from Azerbaijan. My teacher, my site is 2 months old. The competitor site is 14 years old. The competitor site has 200,000 Backlinks. Site speed is slow. Which keywords should I choose? 100 to 10 monthly calls?
Please follow the process in the videos which will tell you exactly what to do next.

Hi Matthew, I’ve been following your blog etc for a number of years now and glad that you are putting together this video series. I’ve been in the industry (SEO/PPC) for many years now but always keen to learn and try new things, there’s a handful of people I follow, yourself included. I just wondered what level you plan to aim this series at? Is it for people just starting out or can anyone make use of it? I’m intrigued by the process/strategy sheet you mentioned as maximising and improving my workflow is important to me.
Hey Eddy – Thank you for following the blog, it’s most appreciated.
Everyone can make use of it – beginners as well as professionals.
I would love you to try it so you could give me feedback!

Hi Matthew, I am looking forward to your next video tomorrow. I have a large directory site that I am trying to drive traffic to. The site is quite new, and getting a little traffic, but I really want to build it up. I recently purchased a plan from a company that promised great results, and the help I have received is next to none. To say I am disappointed would be an understatement. Thanks for your interesting articles, and as I said, I am looking forward to your next video.
Best wishes
Rosemary
Hey Rosemary – So sorry to hear that.
Hope these video series would be more helpful to your business.
Feel free to ask if you have any questions, would be happy to help you out!
Hi Mathew
I am currently earning only $100/month from Amazon affiliate program. My website traffic is 7000 page views per month. And I am stucked. I tried putting more contents but nothing happened.
I was thinking to buy some guest posts but I don’t have good experience with it because whenever I build link (not spamy), Google drops my ranking instead of increasing….
I am totally frustrated… I always hear people saying that they are earning minimum $600~$1000 from just 7000 page views & here I am stucked at $100 only.
Ok first of all I would look to make the most of existing traffic to increase RPM. Look at your most popular pages and see if you can send the traffic somewhere else via ShareASale or similar.
Theres a bunch of strategies here https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/blogging/make-money/monetizing/ and if you’re not building an email list you are living 90% of your profits on the table.
With link building it sounds like you probably went too aggressive on anchor selection, you can use https://linksthatrank.com/ that includes free anchor text selection to avoid that problem.
But first, focus on inreasing your RPM!
I was reading your article on s2Member (a brilliant plugin) as a result of a search I did looking for how to sell our digital publication with a free trial period. I sorted that, but have yet to go active with it. Will though – I believe a trial period will add to our offer significantly.
I then linked onto your introductory SEO video, and it has certainly prompted my interest in looking forward to your follow up email.
My business challenge is that we generate a lot of traffic both on our website and Facebook (not hard, miniatures is a huge hobby), but don’t get many conversions.
Welcome to the inside Roger! haha
In terms of increasing conversions the biggest difference to my business has been using OptinMonster https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/blogging/reviews/optinmonster/
We used similar plugins/services before but OptinMonster takes it to a whole new level. I highly recommend it to patch your leaky conversion problem.
Hi Matthew,
I have a Shopify store and am struggling with traffic and as a result sales. Your SEO strategies look very promising!
Just a quick question at the moment – in terrms of SEO tools I still have a copy of Market Samurai which I bought and almost forgot about years ago. It’s a one-time fee with lifetime updates but is it still relevant today with the likes of SEMRush and Ahrefs seemingly dominating the SEO landscape?
Many thanks and keep up the good work.
Nick
Hey Nick,
I dont think MarketSamurai is relevant any more

tried for years to make money on line… retired still no income with online sales . My web page gets 0 people and all I get from gator host is no information of how to get people to my web site. If you do not put the exact domain name in you will never find it . Just a very frustrating revolving wheel..very few make any money on line and I think most teachers never really share how to gain success with on line marketing in order to keep on selling the golden ring..
Hey David. Making money online isn’t easy. It’s hard work!
Have you ever tried any SEO strategies before?

There are lots of subtle different phrases or words that describe my job. I can’t put each and every one into first page content. It’s tricky to know what to best to write for SEO.
Hey Renny – You’re right. It’s tricky.
Just try to “keep it simple” so most people can understand.

Hello,
I’m getting ready to build a Shopify store. I’ve played w/SEO on websites in the past, but I need to kick it up a few notches and make this work. I‘ve been reading everything I can. Last night, I started a book when after the author told his life story, he said that SEO doesn’t work for e-commerce store & to pay for ads. I don’t believe that but I would like your take on it.
Hey Lisa – Stop reading your book because you are right! – SEO is crucial for e-commerce too. It’s just a different approach…
I wrote an article about it, check it out: https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/ecommerce/
Hi Matthew,
Thanks for your first video. I’ve just watched it.
I did a free SEO challenge a couple of months ago. It was all about blogging and that really helped me feel more motivated. Sadly my brand new laptop had to be sent back to HP a month ago now for repairs and it’s still not back. It’s quite tricky to run a business without it so it’s slowed EVERYTHING down and dwindled my blog and website updating and newsletters to zero. Come on HP pull your finger out!
Looking forward to seeing more of your videos and also learning how I can track what my current search rate is as I have no idea – oops!
Hey Marianne!
I feel you, I had computer issues too last week!
Hope you will get it back soon.
If you’re interested in tracking what’s happening on your website then you should read this:
https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/reporting/google-analytics-event-tracking/
Keep up the good work!

No problem happy to help Saran!
Great work
Thank you Deepak
Hi Matt,
I am just starting out using PBNs.
I have used whois guard protection (free with sites like namecheap) for all of them. But it’s my same account (and therefore real email for all of them). Can google detect this? If so, how do i solve? I don’t want to burn all those great domains.
There are a number of footprints at various levels you should be aware of beyond just whois records. I really recommend you do some research around “PBN Footprints” before continuing.
Thanks a lot for this. For the first time I’ve come across a video that delivers the message succinctly. I look forward to your next message.
Happy to help!
You are literally shared a lot of Values in this particular video.
Thanks for providing this awesome value.

Best regards.
No problem & wish you good luck with the strategy!
Hope it works for you, Nicholas.
Hi Matheww nice to hear about your SEO strategy .Looking forward to learn more…
No problem :)
Thank you, Mathew. I appreciate the fact that you answer. I was wrong going for keywords like Clickfunnels review etc. It’s obvious but I took this lesson and now I have also easier to rank keywords. I don’t think there are many easy to rank keyword in the affiliate marketing niche. Also, don’t I need some traffic before I get or buy backlinks so that big G does not think that they are unnatural? I have read your other article for outreach guest posting and pbn but I only have 6 Url score and 0,6 DR in Aherfs. I fear to buy many and strong links…Please give me your valuable opinion just to get things going. I don’t wanna quit. I have done much work on this shit. Thanks in advance.

You can certainly go for the harder keywords in the future, but first you need a base to build on.
You can look at things like producthunt to find products that have affiliate programs and are growing in popularity with next to no competition.
First just focus on building a solid content base, the traffic will come and then layer it up with links.
The affiliate marketing niche has new products/services launched daily that have zero competition.
They also have zero search traffic but if you keep you ear to the ground you can see which new products/services are being talked about the most which will eventually translate into search volume and sales.
Just make sure you have your content base down then build links gradually across your site. No need to overthink it!
Your article is very good. My website is built on wordpress platform, which has been optimized on page very carefully, but the effectiveness of SEO is not high. Can you share Plan SEO on 1 website for me? I hope to be able to work according to a process, and be able to control all of those jobs in the most scientific way. Thank you very much.
Oh perfect then just follow the videos in this series and you’ll be able to generate a custom plan for your site!
Hello Matthew,
I recently created a Landing page and sales funnel for an online digital Affiliate product, and I’ve used Youtube Ads to help bring traffic to the landing page, but I didn’t get too many click-throughs to the landing page.
Can your Quick win SEO be of use at all?
Also, I’m looking at doing Content writing as a side gig – would quick win SEO be useful?
Many thanks!
Yes find relevant keywords to generate leads and build out the content for them, sounds like you already have the skills you need if you want to pickup content writing as a side gig.
Ok, thanks for the encouragement.
No problem!
Bro nice information
No problem!
Hi,
Thanks for this, looking forward to starting the work.
I’ve had my blog for 7 years and it has a fair amount of traffic monthly, but the vast majority is from social and direct and I’m sure I am missing some seo basics and tips, despite having worked with people previously around it.
I’d love to be getting the same amount of search engine traffic to my site as I do from Pinterest, but having tried various things over the years, I’m losing hope!
Well how much traffic you get isn’t important. What is important is how much traffic you get that converts into sales.
Generally Pinterest delivers a ton of traffic, but very few sales. If you take a look at metrics like time on site, bounce rate, pages per visit and goal conversions in comparison to other traffic sources you’ll see what I mean.
But if your sat on a 7 year old blog, I guarantee your sat on a goldmine of SEO opportunity.
Thanks in advance for the SEO tips you are about to give to us. I have a website with about 200 posts published but I get 50 page views on average every day. this annoys me after all the work I do. I am looking forward to getting great traffic ideas from you.
Hey Vickson – Hope my video series will help you!
You can also have a look at this article: https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/case-studies/14x-search-traffic/ to get traffic.
Good luck.
Hi. I am looking forward to watching the videos in this series. I have two websites that I feel I have worked hard on, with very little traffic.
I feel you, but keep the good & hard work up!
Hello Matheww , What if i dont have a WordPress Website and then how would i able to control WP plugins. Or WordPress website is the only solution for Perfect SEO business practises…
Then you will have to find similar solutions for whatever platform your built on.
You are the expert in my eyes and in many others’ eyes when it comes to SEO, Mathew…I take care of some aspects of SEO but know that I am missing the target since I have no focused strategy nor process…
There is NO doubt that I will be helped by whatever you have to offer, and I thank you in advance for your willingness to share your wisdom with the rest of us! SEO is hands down the cheapest way to build traffic, we all need to pay more attention to it (and have a plan/process)!

My website running well 4 years ago but suddenly it’s out of Google and low search volume from Google. There is no penalty in the Google website tool. How do I know the problem with my website?
Hey Kamaldeep. I suggest you run an SEO Audit to identify your problem.
Here is how you can do: https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/on-page/seo-audit/
Hope it helps.
I was getting good traffic from google before the May core update came and I lost all my traffic. They are coming back a little bit but not full recovered now am looking to buy expired domains with good backlink profile to redirect to the site do you think that’s a good idea?
Not unless you’ve found and fixed the problems that led to the penalty. I would start with a complete on site audit and making sure Google knows your a real business and not an anonymous spammer.
I did the site audit on the site and I didn’t find any major issues that would cause the decline in traffic
Does Google think your a real business? Eg are you showing legally required business information/business address/phone numbers etc?
Nizz
I have been building websites since 2016 and also studying some WordPress and SEO during this time. My challenge is to make my clients understand the importance of having a strategy and producing good content with SEO in mind. Without both it is impossible to succeed on search engines it could be. I am always learning! Thank you for sharing your expertise. I Moved from Yoast to The Seo Framework and recently started to use Rank Math and I confess that I loved it, because it is more helpful friendly than others to let us also learn following the way it works
Well if your clients like sales, revenue and profit that shouldn’t be a difficult conversation :)
Yeah I love RankMath as well, great plugin!
Thank you for taking the time to help us out. I also struggle with SEOs. I worked with other people trying to figure it all out, and some actually confused me even more. Looking forward to getting your information.
My site is an Etsy site, does that work ok with you?
No problem Tammie. For the most part SEO just boils down to “content + links” so please bear that in mind when you hear all the SEO noise.
Yes Etsy shouldnt be a problem to work with
Thanks for the video, I am looking forward to the next part. I’ve wasted money on other SEO “experts”, made lots of on-page changes to hundreds of articles and yet my domain authority score is really poor (18/100). Is that something I should be concerned about, or are there other metrics that are more important?
Also, how specific should I be with keywords / phrases? I’m operating in a niche area and there might be a difference between how an expert refers to things compared to someone who doesn’t know the “correct” terminology.
Thanks
Google doesn’t care about Domain Authority. Just focus on having a good technical base, good content that helps people and link building from relevant sites.
In terms of the keywords/phrases you choose, you should target the ones your customer base are likely to choose. So if your a service based business, probably use the terms the average consumer would use.
But if you supply training to a service based business, then use the terms the experts would use!
Hi Mathew,
I am struggling with m website too.

Hi Matthew – I really struggle with keywords. We are a greeting card company and finding long tailed keywords with any search volume is proving difficult and we can’t compete for things like ‘funny Birrthday cards’. I suspect I am missing something basic here.
Yes the process should reveal some quick wins for you, but rather than looking at things on a keyword and search volume level – start looking at them from a topic and relevance level.
If a keyword only gets 20 searches a month but brings you 5 customers a month, and you have your funnel set to drive repeat custom and referrals it’s more than enough to nudge to the bottom line.
Hello sir, this is Rene and I want to increase traffic on my site https://familytreemakersupport.com, could you please tell me some suggestions for increasing traffic on my site. I have a blog also https://familytreemakersolution.blogspot.com. I tried a lot of strategies but expect this there is no more traffic on my site or blog.
Please give me some suggestions about this.
Personally I would migrate everything away from blog spot into your main hosted site to start building out the content base before layering it up with links.
Thank you for such great information. Really healpful
No problem at all!
Hi,
I am retired in my 70’s but still need to make money as everything is costly and going up. I have tried products, spent money and never made a dime. I need to understand how to make a living on the internet. I really hope that you can help. I have a website for years never sold anything and I cannot find it unless I put the exact URL in the search engine. It seems that people just sell stuff and once that is done they are on to the next. I have been in sales for years but always have helped my customers after the sale. Anyways I am really hoping you have a lot that will make this internet thing work as I really do not want to go back to working 12 to 14 hour days as with covid 19 put a stop to that. Look forward hearing from you.
Well before you set off on your journey, you need to know where you want to go. If you just want to make an extra $200-$300 per month to supplement living that requires a very different direction than if you want to pull down $2000-$5000 per month.
Can you please help what strategy would be perfect for https://www.bluemap.co/
Just follow the video series, it’s ready to rock!
Hey Matthew
I am Claire and I have launched kidd3r.com. A brand new swapping web site connecting families to enable them to swap pre-loved sports, hobby, musical instruments and tech kit. I would like to help families reduce the financial and environmental burden of sourcing these items for their kids, particularly now with so many families struggling. I am a newbie to all this and am hugely grateful for any help I can get. :-)
Hey Claire – Your site sounds great.
Let me know if you have any question, I would be happy to help.
I wish you good luck!
Hi I’m totally new to all this, and to be honest totally scary,I’m just looking to grow my business and dont know where to stzrt6
Hey Lee! If you want to grow your business & traffic, this video series is made for you!
Wish you well!
I have a niche blog site that I’ve been trying to build over the last 9 months. The number of visitors per day is less than 10. I have tried using SEO with RankMath which has resulted in SEO scores of over 90% for each post. One of my posts ranks in Google at position 4 on page 1. All the rest can’t be found in the top 100. I’m looking forward to learning more about SEO.
Hey Brian! You’re in the right place to learn SEO!
I have one tip for you: apply what you learn. This is the only way to make it work.
The Quick Win SEO process is good to start with! I wish you good luck and let me know if you have any question.
Looking forward to seeing more and how ‘ quick wins’ can be optimized
Hello
Just curious how many seo programs you can operate on 1 website.
Also the cost from many companies are $30 – $1500 a month.
How do I know which one is better than the other?
I have 1 company doing my ad words for my website and I am happy with the increase from my sales. But now I would like to increase it more.
You should only operate 1 SEO strategy, just like you should only run 1 PPC strategy.
However SEO has a lot of moving parts from content creation to technical to link building. At a bare minimum it’s going to cost a good agency around $1,000/mo to deliver results, and then they have to make their profit as well so bear that in mind while shopping around!
I have a question about your videos. It all sounds good, but how do you profit from it? It doesn’t appear you are trying to sell anything and I don’t see any advertising on your blog. Surely you gain somehow from this.
I have a reputation for producing high level content for free https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/testimonials/
Of course I make money along the way as a natural by product of that.
Hi. I have a Norwegian site about online stores and ecommerce. I’m struggling to increase traffic even if I add new content. https://ebutikker.no/
It looks like your site is relatively new so be patient, keep adding quality content that aligns to the goals of your business backed with solid link building.
If you tell me more about your current strategy I can give specific advice.
I just met you, and listened to the video, and I so appreciate your quiet demure, generous spirit and wealth of knowledge. I am so glad I found your site! May the blessings you bestowed be returned to you 100X.
Thanks for your kind words Ross! All I ask is you implement what you learn!
I have seen that one of my friend ranked on the top within less than 48 hours. How they did that?
That won’t last for long :) Often Google estimates signals it doesnt yet have.
Hi Matthew,
I don`t know how to increase traffic in my site, please share me what can i do?
Hey! I suggest you follow my “QUick Win SEO” process. It’ll help you to increase your search traffic.

Hello Matthew & Thanks for building a wonderful website where most of our SEO problem get solved, The question I have in my mind in the last few years is that where you focus most on-Page or off-page SEO & What’s the percentage of both works you prefer to get the best results? Moreover, I have another question is in off-page SEO how you feel about guest posting & niche edits, That’s two questions distract me a lot & I really loved to get this answer from you
Before anything else its absolutely critical to have built a foundation that both Google and Humans love.
Usually once you have those foundations set, maintaining them is just sticking to best practices and an annual audit. Once that’s in place though you need to be producing content and building links regularly.
Guest posting is ok but make sure you avoid sites with “write for us” pages and pay CLOSE attention to relevancy, you can use a service like https://linksthatrank.com/ to be sure you get quality every time. Niche edits you should avoid completely.
Hi dear:
many thinks for your help, I have bought around 20 domains, most of them are new and all of them have keywords like Germany, feat, game …etc., can I put traffic to them although they are new or increase SEO?
Can you explain more of your plan and strategy please
waiting for the first email. I’ve been struggling t get traffic since Panda update…. I hope your technique is stil lworking in 2020.
I understand. A lot of people have been hit by this update…
Hope you’ll get your traffic back soon! Good Luck.
Let me know if you have any questions!
My business is just 45 days old. We have “Champagne taste on a beer budget”. We built our own website, a google web page with reviews, and use a facebook page to advertise. As a service provider company, we need more leads through click traffic.
Hey Kent. That sounds like a promising start! If you want to increase your traffic, then you’re definitely in the right place.
Try out this strategy and let me know if you have any questions. I would be happy to help!
Hi, Matt! Thank you, I liked your blog and approach to SEO.
Now the one thing that feels hard for me is creating content and promoting it. It requires much time, topic investigation, keywords etc. Then putting it all together and promoting.
I’d like to know how to write quality articles and where to take materials for content.

Hi Matthew,
I’m very new at this game. As a debut self-published author, it’s been a steep learning curve. I’ve built a website and have been fiddling around trying to make it as effective as possible. I’ve attached sign up forms, now I just need to get it working for me. I know there’s more to do, and I’m grateful for anything that will help me get better at this. thanks.
I assume you have seen https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/work/ideas/how-to-self-publish-a-book/ ?
Once you have built your site to promote your book, you should get out there and promote your site! I imagine you would be able to land some podcasts in your niche relatively easily for those first links and traffic.
I dont know what SEO is??? Give some idea to earn money. Thank u

that’s for this series
Hey Nirmal. If you want to increase your traffic, then you’re in the right place!
I’m sure this video series will help you!
Wow, it’s you! I didn’t think you were real. I have been a subscriber for probably 12 years or more, I know I have bought some of your products or training or both but it’s been a very long time. I pretty much gave up about 3 years ago. I did pretty good on WF which may have been where I learned about you, maybe not. Anyway, I’m back, and I’m looking forward to hearing/learning more.
Hey Mary! That’s great news, I am glad you’re back on my blog!
Hey Matthew
I first found your blog in 2016, and I thought it was the best then. The content always rocks, however I am the master of not taking action. If I would have applied that the lessons I learned on this blog for years ago, I’m sure I would have a well ranked site.
I am reading over some of your copywriting tutorials here and it just occurred to me, that you can use those tricks on any written content. It does not have to be in the blogging, make money niche. I’m actually going to use the training for a lifestyle blog.
Hey Carson! I am glad you finally decide to take action!
Learning is good but applying what you learned, make all the difference!
I wish you good luck with your lifestyle blog.
Is that picture of me from my wordpress gravitar? Just wondering?
Yes
Matthew,
I look forward to learning more about your quick SEO, I would like to think I have a good understanding of SEO, but I think there are puzzle pieces missing. haha Thank you
Hey Richard, hope my ‘quick win SEO’ works for you!

Hi Mattew,
I have watched this video and want to get to the point to learn quick ways to make traffic to my website.
Hey Nouman!
You’re in the right place if you want to get more traffic to your website!
Keep following the video series, apply what you learn and let us know if you get any results.
Hi Matt,
My “SEO strategy” is completely different from what’s “recommended”.
I started out targeting keywords with low search volume. 10-70/month and I got lucky because I have about 5 articles that deliver an average of $700/month in affiliate income, which is nice. Long tail works pretty well.
(I get 3-4k traffic, even though Ahrefs says it’s only 450.)
However the rest, 100+ articles on my site deliver zero traffic.Honestly I am not even fixated on traffic like the majority, I only care about income.
My biggest problem about my SEO strategy is that it is like lottery. 1 out of 20 works.
I would like to take my existing content and refresh it but I am unwilling to put my effort into a lottery.
For this reason I have been concentrating on building out funnels to increase ROI, however I will soon get to the point where more traffic is needed.
Go to Google Search Console > Links > Internal Links > More to see the full report.
Are the top 25 pages you see listed there, the most important pages in terms of your business goals? If not, fix that :)
Sound Good Matthew,
Let’s give a chance the ball rollin’. :)
Great, let us know how it goes for you!
Hi
Matthew your words are so right , I know all the pieces of the puzze , but i can not connect them . here in latam the linkbuilding is so poor , so i have a lot of chances .
Yeah I am sure if you use your head you can pull ahead of the competition in latam
Hlo yes
Looking forward to leaning the quick win strategy – after traffic dipping, I need to build it up again and this seems to be the right option
Hey Dave, you’re definitely in the right place if you are looking to get your traffic back!
Wish you good luck.
Hi, Matthew. I’m french and I begin with you to learn more in SEO. Thank’s for your free videos. Marc from Paris in FRANCE
Hey Marc! Thank you for reading my blog.
I am sure you’ll find all the content you need to start in SEO.
Wish you good luck and if you have any question, let me know.
Hey Mat! How are you doing? (Sorry for this profile pic I actually don’t remember when I set that). Nevermind, I wrote to you 2 weeks ago and actually asked about my project on warehouse logistics. You asked me about my SEO strategy, so here is the list of actions I do on a monthly basis:
1) Checking website health problems and resolve anything that appears with the dev team;
2) Add new categories and services pages (approximately 2 per month);
3) On-page optimizations (meta, alts, H1s, internal linking);
4) Adding new blog posts (10 per month);
5) Link building;
6) PPC advertising;
7) Articles posting on external sources that match my topic.
The problem is that the website is getting only 317 sessions from organic search per month (the website is 6 months old).
You can find my website in Ukrainian Google Search by typing “Wareteka” – my site is the first in results by this query.
What I’m doing wrong, Matthew?
Thank you for your answer.
Can you please tell me more about the link building you are doing and the top of content your producing (and why)
Yes, I’m doing free linkbuilding on web forums, blogs, and directory submissions. I post approximately 2 paid links per month;
I divided the content creating into 2 parts: blog posts and commercial texts for categories and service pages;
I do this in order to separate commercial and informational user’s intent.
Yes that’s a good approach to take but I would recommend you spend more time getting guest post type links. Try to avoid sites that mark your guest post as a guest post and have a “write for us” page though.
That sounds good, thank you, I will do that and see what the results would be. I hope I can turn to you later if I need some advice? Wish you all the best!
Sure, you can! I am looking forward to hearing about your results.
Wish you luck!
Hello Matthew!
your website is really amazing!
I still have a report of zero traffic on my blog. I’m learning
Thanks for sharing your contents
Hey! Learning is very important but what’s really make the difference is taking action and implementing what you learnt.
Wish you well!
Thank you very much, Matthew. I’m still struggling with traffic on my site. But I´m watching your videos and applying your valuable suggestion :) I´m excited about the 90 days SEO!
Oh then you are in the right place, just follow the video series :)
Great news! The only way to change things is to take action!
Wish you good luck!
Hello Matthew, thank you for this; I just signed up for the course, looking forward to what I will be learning. I have actually ranked for some long-tail keywords on Google, a two or three but they aren’t what people look for online. I am also struggling with traffic on my site.
Glad to have you on board, you are in the perfect place!
Its realy great to hear from you Sir, I am new in this SEO industry and started by first blog a year ago. After doing proper keyword research and implementing various SEO checklist, my site was still not able to get decent search traffic.
So, when I got your site and looked the SEO strategy you are delivering to the whole newbie and also to the professionals in the Digital world, I’m also super excited and eagerly waiting for Tommorow morning to get your next lession of this Quick Win SEO Technique.
What did you do in terms of link building?
I had created some backlinks from forum question answering related to my niche and some backlinks from profile creation and blog commenting.
Ok now you should look to build some high authority guest posts in your niche
Thanks for sharing the important seo tips I like seo .
No problem :)
Sounds good and I definitely need a structured approach to learn more and apply better what I already know.
I’m ready to get on board.
Yeah I find most people understand SEO, put lack the structure so please follow along and let me know what results you see!
Hello Master Matthew
I am very excited about the helpful information about the SEO traffic. I learn a lot. Nevertheless as a learner I need your assistance to know more about design of complete website. God bless you. Thank you.
No problem! In terms of design just keep it simple and clean
Dear matthew, i have a small qustion, my site runs almost everywhere top 5 in Google.be, but my problem is that i have no traffic and almost no new clients, can you give me advice
sample: “SEO Turnhout” im am @2. Some people sayd i need run email campaigns, webinars, Fbook ads etc. What do i do wrong, Can you help?
Start with some solid keyword research in your region and build out your plan from there. Stay focused on relevant keywords that will bring you conversions, rather than getting distracted by big traffic numbers.
Most of my site got hit around 5 May . Lost 20-60% of traffic for most of them. I need to study your strategies to use with my websites.
Hey Duzadee.
I hope my blog would help you to get your traffic back.
Let me Know!
Wish you good luck!
Hey Matthew,
It’s Sohanoor. I followed numerous SEO influencers. They just told about the traditional ways like on-page, link building, etc etc. But nobody shared a perfect strategy.
I found some different ideas from you. Previously You shared a tool for keywords research. That helps me a lot. Another time you shared importance of EXIF-tag for the image.
Now, this Quick Win SEO Process is badly needed for me. Because I’m that type of person who know a lot about SEO but doesn’t know how to put it together.
Best wishes to you.
– Sohanoor
Hey sohannor! I’m glad that my blog has helped you with your website.
Let me know if you have any question about my “Quick Win SEO process”, I would be happy to answer you!
Keep up the good work!
this information is really good , I like this site.
Thank you, Ravindra!
Ok
Hello Matthew! How are you doing? My name is Vlad and I’m doing SEO since 2018. I have a big project now – a warehouse leasing website which is actually new (launched in March 2020). I’m doing SEO and PPC, but I feel scared that since March (it’s July now) the organic traffic is only 275 sessions per month (although the bounce rate improved and is 29% now). Is it a matter of low domain authority or the problem can be deeper? Thanks.
What is your SEO strategy?
Fantastic idea, I am eager to learn more. Thanx Matthew!
Nice! Hope this video series will help you out, Jack!
Hey Mathew looking forward to trying this out. I’ve been stuck at a ceiling that I just can’t break through. I’ve been publishing lots of new content optimized with Surfer SEO but my traffic overall is stagnant in some cases declining. Very frustrating.
Hi Kyle. Hope this video series will help you out.
Fell to ask me any question if you need!
I slowly built my Google traffic up to about 2,000 organic visits a month then after the last Google update (about 2 months ago) this basically disappeared overnight… it is starting to regain some traffic but some quick tips would go down really well. Look forward to implementing them.
Yeah the quick win process should help you out a bunch! What have you done to try and recover?
I have done nothing yet wanted to let everything settle first… not sure if that was the right thing to do or not.
Yes well start with an SEO audit and find where all your problems lie and then work through the results of that and fix them up!
Hello Matthew
Looking forward to your tricks and tips. What you say sounds good in the first video. I am working on a Handyman service site. He wants to become the local handyman to go to in his town. I would like to bump him up to number one on the first page of Google search. right now I have him at the seven spot. Google has changed their algorithm, and I am wondering what is the affect on websites.
Oh then you are in the perfect place :)
Did you experience a bump/fall in the May update?
hey.can i link me website to irrelivent websites.like my website is all about home decoration but can i link it to electronics websites?
Relevance comes from a page level, not a website level.
Really? So a guest post on a
Site with ovwrall Authority for an unrelated topic gains its relevance from the post/page topic and not from the site topic? If so that opens up a lot more places to get guest posts from
Yes!
However you still want to be thematically relevant. eg if they site is mostly about motor racing, and then you put someone on there about making soap – it’s not ideal. But you could publishing anything do with any form of transport/racing all the way through to car seats for babys etc
Matthew, I recently started following you. Your content is so amazing. I want to know the it is best to start blogging in the regional language(Hindi)? Or if we are starting a blog in Hindi is there anything special that we need to keep in mind
I dont know much about starting blogs in Hindi
I have a site that is 5 months old, used an expired 301 from another niche but with strong backlinks from top news sites, the 301 was restored for a month the moved to the new site.
Things were going pretty good, before core update i was getting 2k+ visitors daily mainly from search but the update killed it and now im getting 200 uv daily.
I disavowed some url’s and it is increasing every day slowly by 10 users or so but still nothing big.
This project was a test, the content is thin and c+p, new links were free ones i built myself(not the best), but still would there be a way to save it?
Thanks
Yes I would start with a complete onsite audit and work from there. All of my sites are expired domains with 301’s pointing at them and they saw good improvements across the board in the May update.
Hey Matthew… I’m trying to get back into SEO after the medic update tanked my rankings. Went from about $1000 to $13 per month in earnings.
I’ve added more content, but it doesn’t seem to be helping. I’ve lost all motivation.
Should I abandon my niche or is there any hope?
Thanks
I assume given that your handing out medical advice, your also listing your address/phone number/company registration info?
I’m a caregiver at a nursing home so I don’t have too much personal information on there.
If I write a blog post about one of my residents (obviously I don’t use names), I don’t want to get in trouble for breaching confidentiality.
Are you saying including this information will help?
Thanks
I am saying why should anyone trust anonymous medical information and why would Google rank it and put people in a position of risk?
I understand that, but it’s not completely anonymous. We tell our story and experience in the about us page (my wife is a caregiver too), without putting a spotlight on us.
We recommend mobility devices we have experience using at our nursing homes and how to take care of your elderly parents at home, not how to perform brain surgery.
That’s nice and it would help a manual review, but the algorithm doesn’t care about that especially if you’re not meeting legal requirements to hand out medical advice.
I have a site (in spanish) about boudoir photography. I did a research of my competition ranking for the term “Fotografia Boudoir” and the first places were all tiny articles with really bad structure so I created a great article with all the info of those sites (and more) but for some reason the article doesnt rank at all (I mean, it ranks but is lost in positions 30-40)
Any thoughts on this? Im 100% sure my content is more useful, and complete than all of my competitors.
Run it through the trial of this https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/reviews/surfer-seo/
What link building did you do?
My blog post doesn’t show on the Google..
Only show the home page on Google SERP..
Mhztechies.com this is my site..
When I am search site:mhztechies.com
Only show the home page… But I have around 20 plus post…
Whats the problems..
Please help me..
Have you setup with Google Analytics and Google Search Console?
Hello sir, I am running a TECH website that is mostly related to Apple / iOS / Jailbreak things. I have two question regarding creating/updating content which i have mentioned below, i want to know which one of these approaches would be better for my website’s ranking and for users as well in future.
Question No 1. For example, theiOS jailbreak versions keep on changing every year, currently its iOS 13.5 jailbreak. Now the question is, which approach should i follow in this case for writing articles? (Approach No 1)- should i make the URL generic? like (domain.com/whatever-jailbreak) and then everytime a new jailbreak for a new iOS version comes out, i update the content of that whole page (steps to accomplish new jailbreak remain the same). (Approach No 2)- Or should i follow another approach where i put the iOS version as well in the URL like (domain.com/whatever-ios-13-jailbreak) and then later when a new jailbreak for iOS version comes out then create brand new page like (domain.com/whatever-ios-14-jailbreak) then link this page inside the previous iOS 13 jailbreak page? Which approach is better to follow?
Question No 2: its somehow related to the first one, i have some old pages with evergreen content, for example i have a page about (best video chat apps) the URL has the year inside its currently like (domain.com/top-10-video-chat-apps-2019), that page was on 1st page in Google later went on 3rd page, now i am considering updating the content, the question is, should i change the URL and remove the numbers from it and 301 redirect OLD URL to the changed URL? or should i leave it as it is? which would be the better approach for ranking in future?
Waiting for your humble guidelines on these things.
Thank you,
Regards,
Hey
1) Yes keep the URL generic then update the title/meta/page content etc with each update
2) Yes change the URL, remove the numbers and 301 the old URL(s) to the new one
Thanks
thank you sir, i was thinking to do the same but I was looking for an expert’s opinion.
Great. I wish you good luck Nabil!
Sir Matthew I have a something related to ask when making a new page with generic URL, should I just copy and paste the old URL’s content into new and 301 old to new? or should I write new content? what to do with old URL’s content.?
I tend to just change the URL in WordPress then setup a 301 redirect in htaccess
Thanks to u
No problem!
I’m struggling to find a profitable niche with low competition. whenever I found a low completion keyword then I look at the top 10 ranking sites that they have high DA
Yes that is likely to be the case in many niches but you can often beat them on URL level based metrics
Last 6 months no growth on a search result, I have deleted a dead post from the site. But still lacking somewhere. Hope these videos will help.
Thanks Matt
Yes for sure work through the process!
I’m working on YouTube since 4 month and uploaded 40 plus Videos but views and Subscriber is very low.
Can you suggest me some awesome SEO stuffs for my problem.
Thank you very much.

Are you trying to rank your videos in Google search?
I have parenting blog with 150 posts. But traffic is still under 100 visitor.
No linkbuilding done… But blog is one and half year old…
Please follow the video series as this will help take advantage of any existing opportunites without having to build links.
Then you might want to consider one of the strategies from https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/link-building/strategies/ to layer on top
I have problems with ink building and indexing. I can’t find wich backlinks were indexed.
Take a look at https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/link-building/strategies/
I’ve purchased a number of expired domains and created 301 redirects in the past and this appears to be driving some organic traffic.
What is the best to to monitor this impact? I’ve been looking at some of these metrics recently but not sure how useful they are:
https://websiteseochecker.com/bulk-check-page-authority/
Yes I do this with each new site, but in turns of impact I would just want to see that those 301’s are showing up in GSC and Ahrefs
Thanks for sharing matt!
No problem!
I have just started implementing your advice to add back the exif data on images. However I have noticed that it does increase the file size, so could potentially lower the speed of the site. So the question is will the hidden data be a big enough win to offset the potential decrease in site speed.
No it literally adds next to nothing to the total file size
Dear Matthew, I have been doing blogging in one of the most competitive niches, i.e. Health.
Right now I am not doing any keyword research at all. My focus is just on creating the best content on different health topics that have all the required details about that topic.
All my articles are between 2000 to 4000 words.
I started the blog about 2 months back. However, as I am putting all the required details in each article it is taking me quite a lot of time to create articles.
Do you think if I keep on creating the content like this then I have a chance to appear on Google search results?
By the way, I am looking forward to your email tomorrow with the tool so that I may make my first commission. Hope it changes my life.
Having a great content isn’t enough anymore…. but it’s still important, don’t take me wrong.

I have a client who has built a social media style website. Url below. He wants to send traffic to it on a shoestring budget. How would you advise we go about it? Will your course be covering that?
If growing the business with SEO makes sense, then yes! But social media sites are all about marketshare and you don’t get marketshare with a shoestring budget.

Dear Mathew,
Your video is inspiring to me as I am learning SEO and inerested to promot my website.
Can you tell me some sites where I will be able to do link building.
Thanks
Saboha
Hey Sabiha! I don’t know your website so I can’t tell you exactly which websites you should “link to” but I can give you some piece of advice!
I recommend you to link with websites based on the same “topic” as yours and websites with the same audience as yours.
If you do that you’ll have “quality” links and it would help you to generate “quality” traffic.
Hey Mathew!
I made a website yesterday and wrote a blog for my click bank product and the site is temporary suspended, it will activate in 8 hours. I learnt about you from Youtube. I have seriously got no money but all I have is potential and hard–work to put on. I am very disappointed after seeing 100s of Youtuber’s selling frauds. I want to make up like others and get ahead. I understand that it takes time and in the next 7 months can I make it? Can you help me?
Hi Musa! You’re right. It takes time and effort to get a great website, with great content and great traffic!

Hello Matt, I’ve been following your blog for the past three years. Thanks for your tips.
I’ve just launched a new blog last month. It focuses on the relationships niche. And I publish at least one 1500+ content every day. I’ve only built 45 solid 90 D/A profile backlinks.
I currently use the onehourindexing tool you recommended. But my three questions are:
1. If I decide to index 50 profile backlinks every week, won’t Google penalize the new blog?
2. How reliable are the keyword difficulties Ahrefs claim to reveal. Because I’m targeting mainly 0.0 KD.
3. We’re friends on Facebook. Would you mind that I share with you the url on Facebook Messenger?
Thanks for your response.
Hey Godwin,
I wouldnt continue wasting time or money on building profile backlinks if I were you.
Please step through the quick win SEO process and see where you come out the other side.
Looking forward to taking a look at the tool Matthew, tried surfer and only got very marginal increases tbh, but I’m always interested in anything new that anyone is doing that might provide some new insights!
Good attitude, Simon!
Learning & testing new tools… It’s the best way to make your way through it!

How to rank your website in a specific country?
Hey Azhar! I would suggest you use the same “ranking strategies” as normal, but you apply them to the specific country you chose.
For example, when you search for keywords, search only the keywords that are used and popular in YOUR country.
Also, make sure that the content you publish fits with your target audience in YOUR country.
Other example, When you are building “backlinks”, link your site with other sites based in your chosen country.
These tips should help you to rank in a specific country!
good one, really like this

Should i pay money to start or its free
Hey, you can follow the video series for free!
Hello! I have got a website 10 months old with 50 articles. My organic traffic is only like 30-50/ month which is rediculous for the amount of work i have put into it. I do on and off oage Seo, keyword research ( but i admit i went for some difficult keywords), i changed theme to generate press premium, i have image compression and chache plugins, etc. I think i am above average to have sych a little traffic…any tip?
Hey, Thanks for your comment.
If you’re ranking for difficult keywords, then, it can be hard to push yourself up the SERPs.
You should probably start with “easy” and efficient keywords.
Backlinks are also a great way to build traffic and improve rankings.
How can I discover profitable local search terms to rank for especially when I don’t have the money to subscribe to tools like Ahref or Semrush?
I would like to do SEO for Software Service website.
Also, what can I do when I don’t find good keywords in my niche? I mean keywords with considerable volume and low competition
Take a look at https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/keywords/free-keyword-research-tools/ which will guide you through a few methods to do keyword research without spending anything
Instead of looking at individual keywords, look at topics and the keywords that make them up – especially when judging search volume because relevancy > search volume.
Helpful information
Thanks.
Glad you found my article useful!
Yes Hello, I consider you the king of traffic. My frustration is in my own learned system of traffic through expired domains, sometimes with a certain host GD I redirect a newly aquired domain that said in the analysis that it gets x odd numbers of traffic and I purchase redirect to another site and especially with parked
domains, I end up with a report of zero traffic.
Other times I show one getting traffic but not nearly the amount it did. Is this a reset by Google? The Host taking the traffic or the host not allowing the numbers to go over an amount on a share hosting?
Hey Roddy! This article should help you out:
