I think you misanchored the “HTTPS” link. It points to the Quicksprout site structure page. Which tells nothing about HTTPS. Personally, I’m in doubt of switching. On one hand, both encryption and pagespeed counts, on the other hand SSL will take some additional time to load. And some other downsides (as far as I know, Adsense will show only encrypted results, but I hate Adsense anyway and too much ad space above the fold lowers rankings).

Since I rank really well for a whole bunch of keywords I will not risk my current domain for those experiments at all. By the way, my main strategy is to keep the bounce rate as low and slow as possible. Totally white hat, works like a charm. You just need a long, exciting text and some patience until you rose to the top.

Love your monthly digest without all the fluffy bullshit.

I think you are right :P Fixed thanks!

I have a site that I have enabled SSL on so im taking a close look at that at the moment.

But if I was in your position, I wouldn’t take the risk. The balance of the risk vs reward scale is heavily weighted to risk.

    Brilliant, Matt.

I’m so happy to see people talk more and more about Canva (the social media examiner post for optimizing images across social media).

I’ve been using it since March/April, they were still in hiding mode back then, it’s been a great help.

Definitely going to check out John Chow’s posts on Wikipedia people (I saw a couple of years ago an empty spot for May 16, 1989 – my bday – and I still want to “book it”) and the self-publishing book options – my friend from Cali told me I should publish at least 1 book before my next bday, lol.

Thanks for sharing these awesome tips & posts.

p.s. Thurday morning I’ll be going to the GPeC morning workshops, I so wish I could have seen you there, really. And there’s this cool Foreigners party in the evening, too (not related to the event though). :(

I have found Canva to be really slow and frustrating recently, not sure whats going on to be honest!

Looks like your going to have to drink for me seeing as I can’t be there this time =\

I love that psychology study. I was wondering if these internet marketing method would still be applicable on 2015? Well, Google changes it’s guidelines and algorithm from time to time, and that would mean the present quality strategies would still has the same quality in the future. Anyway, thanks for sharing you knowledge!
