Income Report Roundup – August 2014

Income report roundupOne of the most popular posts I publish are my income reports.

So I decided to round up as many income reports as possible and rank them based on earnings to see how I stack up against the rest.

If you publish an income report on your blog and would like it included in next month’s post then please let me know in the comments!

If you feel inspired by this post – start your own blog right now!

Here we go-

#1) PinchOfYum.com – $26,385.75 (-$4,687.67)

PinchOfYumYou have got to give it to the PinchOfYum team they consistently dominate the income report roundup.

They held a huge sale across all of their products at the end of the month which saw a huge spike in sales.

The team are huge advocate of creating and selling your own products and share some valuable advice.

#2) MatthewWoodward.co.uk – $18,424.90 (+$1,697.85)

Matthew WoodwardYet another record setting month for the blog this month!

My new experiments are doing well earning $3,437 and $3,015 respectively – I even managed to squeeze in a trip back to the UK and was featured on the front cover of a magazine.

It also marked the 2 year anniversary of the blog with a total of 4,707,100 pageviews, 2,793,640 minutes watched & $221,280.23 profit!

#3) AuthorityWebsiteIncome.com – $16,208.00 (+$8,933.00)

AuthorityWebsiteIncomeAfter one of the biggest drops the roundup has ever seen, Jon has recovered well this month.

This is down to some great performance from his passive niche sites along with some fantastic growth from the services side of things.

He has some very ambitious goals set and I will be looking forward to seeing him smash through all of them!

#4) MakingSenseofCents.com – $14,937.00 (+$2,150.00)

MakingSenseofCentsMichelle has also had her best month ever posting some really nice profits.

She even managed to take a week off to enjoy some time with her family and jump on a cruise. She even managed to get full internet access!

She has some interesting plans for the future of her website and business to build her brand including eBook writing, buying websites and interviews.

#5) Moms-Make-Money.com – $8,896.01 (-$1,832.22)

MomsMakeMoneyWhile Deby has seen a slight drop off this month, she spent most of it outside!

She has faced some difficulty with affiliate programs this month (ditch them, promote competitor, they will crawl back) and saw record sales of her sewing patterns.

This month she plans to do more of the same and enjoy her time in the water and on the beach!

#6) RatRaceGrad.com – $5,807.12 (-$2,743.42)

RatRaceGradJennifer quit her job recently and is already taking advantage of the dot com lifestyle.

She spent 6 days travelling visiting a total of 13 states in the USA with her family. Having that freedom is the true meaning of success.

If she still had a real job that trip would not have been possible as she had no holiday days left to use this year – welcome to the dot com club :)

#7) TrueValhalla.com – $5,227.00 (+$3694.00)

TrueValhallaMatt had a $19k drop off last month but has made a great recovery this time around.

Now he has settled into his new home and familiarised himself with the city he is firmly back in the driving seat of work – we all need a break sometimes :)

After updating his book he is focused on making new HTML5 games again as well as launching a consulting service, the only way is up!

#8) MyTanFeet.com – $1,990.32 (-$669.04)

MyTanFeetAfter some great performances recently Yeison & Samantha take a 25% hit this month.

But they have planted a number of important seeds that will help them grow and reach their income goals in the next months.

They are also about to set off on a crazy trip around South Korea & Malaysia which will make for some awesome new blog content.

#9) DumbPassiveIncome.com – $1,782.86 (-$819.99)

DumbPassiveIncomeUnfortunately for the second month running Matt has posted a decrease in income.

However he has been busy working on some projects behind the scenes that will bear fruit in the future like his public niche site case study.

He has also started building websites for small businesses which has helped him to maintain earnings while he is working on other projects.

#10) DigitalNomadWannabe.com – $1,170.00 (+$240.00)

digitalnomadSharon joined the roundup last month and has shown off some nice growth this month.

She has had a difficult month from a personal standpoint which also included a couple of trips so hopefully things can only get better from this point on.

She will be taking a week off which should leave her feeling refreshed, inspired & motivated to drive things forward.

#11) My4HrWorkWeek.com – $494.18 (+$6.26)

My4HrWorkWeekEric posts a small increase this month after taking an official break.

He has had a lot of new things in his life recently like a new home, wedding planning & promotion at work so its time to sit back and evaluate things.

What is interesting though is even though he hasn’t paid much attention to the web this month, income increased!

#12) RankTactics.com – $30.00 (+$29.40)

ranktacticsRizvan is in the early stages of his blogging journey and continues to grow.

Last month he posted his first profit and this month he has managed to increase it further – not a huge amount but he is laying the foundations for the future.

All of his key metrics continue to grow and it is just a matter of time until he strikes gold!

In Summary

Another month and another great income report roundup – I love spending time reading what others have been upto in the month and drawing inspiration from that.

I’m hoping to introduce a couple of new blogs to the leaderboard next month so if you want to be featured and have published at least 3 income reports consecutively contact me.

Last month the blogs featured earned a total of $95,354.97 which has broken the 6 figure mark again this month at $101,353.14 even though nearly half the blogs posted a month on month loss.

If you feel inspired to follow in their foot steps then why don’t you start a blog today? It only takes a few minutes!

I will be publishing my next income report on the 1st and I’m hoping to break the $20,000 barrier for the first time – here goes nothing :)

Performance Tracking

I only include the earnings history of the top 10 blogs each month to make the graphs easy to read.

that looks really good. I love numbers <3.
Congrats to everyone so far and here's my statement: I'm gonna be there in 6 months, this means in 3 months time I'm gonna start posting a monthly income report. So far it's been a couple of thousands of euros for consulting services, but I'd like to see if I can get somewhere with affiliate marketing. Already made 2 partnerships with 2 affiliate companies. Excited!

    Hi Matt,
I keep up to date with your adventure – it really is inspirational. I’m at the crossroads with my own “real” products selling well and creating an income, but on the digital front it is a bit slower to catch fire. But positivity, patience and persistence will see me break through! Always a pleasure reading your guides.

This is a great roundup list of montly income reports. It is nice to see people included who are at the beginning of their money making journey as well as those who show just how possible it is to make a great full time living.

    Hi Matt,

A really interesting roundup as always. I’ve just written my first report for my first month of blogging and I’d love to be included in your roundup in a couple of months time. I’ve found that connecting with other bloggers to share tips and encouragement is really enjoyable and I hope that being part of your roundup will support that (and force me to keep pushing to build the site so I do to have to spend forever at the bottom of the list!). I know it’s too soon to be included but if you (or anyone else who’s made it this far reading the comments) want to take a look it’s http://www.myrecipebook.co.uk/news/blog-report-July-2014

Maybe I’ll get the chance to meet you at the next Affiliate Summit East. I didn’t know who you were at #ase14, but I can personally say that your blogs are very interesting. I like your approach to internet marketing and will be stopping by more to read and share positive feedback. Thanks for just being you! (smile) :-)

Is that Google Charts you are using for the graph chart at the end of the post? I think it adds a nice touch to the blog post, making it easier to visualize the updates.

Matthew…reading your blog for the past couple of months has inspired me to blog again and also post my own income report. I’ve been blogging for four years…but my ability to generate affiliate income has challenged me. It’s an area in which I really need to grow.

CONGRATS on your experiments working out for you. People might not like MTTB or MOBE right away, but it’s time tested and really works well for generating income. It should work VERY well for a blog like yours.

Thanks again for posting these each month. They help a lot! I hope to be at consistent income in short order – hopefully within the next three to six months.
