Income report roundupOne of the most popular posts I publish are my income reports.

So I decided to round up as many income reports as possible and rank them based on earnings to see how I stack up against the rest.

If you publish an income report on your blog and would like it included in next month’s post then please let me know in the comments!

Here we go-

#1) ACoupleTravelers.com – $14,863.00 (+$1,430.00)

ACoupleTravelers
I caught up with Dave & Vicky earlier this month for a curry and few drinks so its nice to see them reclaim the top spot this month!

They took a month to recharge back at home before heading through England/Scotland with a trek across Nepal ahead!

The travelling duo have continued to invest in new blogs while reducing the number of partner blogs they rely on.

#2) GodOfSEO.co – $13,239.00 (+$8,712.00)

GodOfSEOCharles see’s a huge increase this month as he pushes forward to take second place!

His guest post last month sent 1,700 visitors, 300 visits to his hire me page & over 100 enquiries making him $12,806 in consultation work.

But I think Charles is about to learn why I stopped taking on so many clients ;)

#3) PinchOfYum.com – $12,419.02 (-$1,016.73)

PinchOfYumThe PinchOfYum team have dropped off the top spot this month but still post some impressive earnings.

Fantastic to see the blog generating more than 3 times the amount of traffic from Pinterest as they get from Google.

Not as impressive as how much they are earning from their food photography & cauliflower sauce ebooks though!

#4) MatthewWoodward.co.uk – $6,503.01 (+$70.13)

Matthew WoodwardI spent the first 2 weeks of September in Nicaragua and was in serious catch up mode after taking 4 weeks off in total.

Nice to see that income remained steady whilst I was taking some time off.

Unfortunately I’ve been ill for most of October and just doing the bare minimum – sorry for the lack of posts guys!

#5) LeavingWorkBehind.com – $4,259.00 (-$2,989.00)

LeavingWorkBehindTom spent the last few month trying to do as little work as possible by working just 5-10 hours per week.

That has started to take its toll financially but more importantly he has started to get bored and feels unfulfilled.

We all need a break at some point and it’s great to hear that Tom is now fully focused on business development rather than just business maintenance.

#6) Moms-Make-Money.com – $3,708.27 (+$1,554.20)

MomsMakeMoneyDeby has had a cracking month posting her biggest monthly earnings so far by quite a margin!

She had similar traffic levels than last month but good karma came to her rescue!

She set up a free blogger to wordpress transfer service which has seen overall income increase throughout the blog.

#7) LostCyclist.me – $2,622.19 (-$448.26)

LostCyclistAfter Quintons record breaking month last month its a shame to see him drop below the 3k barrier again.

He has dropped off his publishing schedule slightly posting his income report a lot later than usual.

But he has spent time looking at why his best performing posts do so well and is looking to replicate that recipe in the future!

#8) TrueValhalla.com – $2,035.00 (-$3,069.00)

TrueValhallaFor the second month running Matt has taken a major month on month hit with his earnings.

But there is very good reason for that as he has spent time building something much bigger instead of focusing on short term income.

I took a similar approach at the start of the year dropping a lot of consultation work to build the blog further.

#9) AvocadoPesto.com – $602.00 (-$865.00)

AvocadoPestoThis is ran by Vicky from ACoupleTravelers report and earnings continue to decline.

The team have been more focused on growing earnings elsewhere and taking more time to enjoy their travels.

On the flip side, Vicky is building a huge library of content that will become highly valuable assets in the future.

#10) My4HrWorkWeek.com – $459.50 (+$57.53)

My4HrWorkWeekEric is one of our most diverse earnersfreelance writer.

But what is much more interesting is how he managed to earn money playing fantasy football!

In Summary

Out of the 22 blogs I have featured in the income report roundup’s only 10 of them actually published an income report this month.

But that hasn’t stopped the 10 featured bloggers earn a total of $60,709.99 this month up from last months total of $60,023.73!

Congratulations go out to Charles Floate for his huge increase this month along with Deby & The ACoupleTravelers.com duo!

With only 10 bloggers featured it might be difficult to break the $70,000 barrier – but with me starting to get better and the big plans Tom, Quinton & Matt have over the next month we might just do it :)

  2. 10.28.2013

Well done on another good month.

I’ve seen you mention the ‘acoupletravelers’ site before – scary figure, but shows what can be achieved

    Matthew

Wow! Cannot believe Charles got $12,806 in consultation work from a single blog post. That could be the topic for an upcoming article…

By the way, do you accept guest posts from readers and commentators if they’re as good as Charles article? :)

    • October 29th, 2013 at 12:33 pm

Haha maybe so – you think he’ll paypal me some cash over :P mwahaha

Yes I do accept guest posts of that standard just drop me a mail with your ideas.

Hey Matt – thanks so much for sharing this information. Really gives me something to shoot for with my sites.

I’m not too surprised about Dave & Vicky taking back the top spot, but am surprised Charles made such a huge number. Will be interested to see how that fluctuates over the next couple of months.

Thanks again and keep the great stuff coming!

      Hi,

Well it certainly shows whats possible with a bit of elbow grease.

We’ll see how Charles deals with drowning in client work, personally I hated it :)

  5. 10.28.2013

    Again, great compilation Matthew.

I really missed your posts this month :(

    • October 29th, 2013 at 12:30 pm

Cheers :) I’ve got some things coming don’t worry! Can actually record again without sounding like I’m dieing so thats good lol

  6. 10.28.2013

Hey Matthew, aren’t you monitoring Pat Flynn?

    • October 29th, 2013 at 12:30 pm

I was going to include him but it would make the table less competitive – he would murder us 4-5 times over month in month out and make the graph look silly :P

But he is the benchmark we are all trying to get to ^^ Perhaps in the future :)

      • October 30th, 2013 at 5:55 pm

Yes, I though of the same reason why he was not included :)

  7. 10.28.2013

    i cant believe this!!!!

How can you manage all website.. really impressive..Smart work

  8. 10.28.2013

    Eleven have published reports :)

Great to see so many doing so well!

    • October 29th, 2013 at 12:26 pm

Huh? I looked for yours when I wrote it but couldn’t find it on your blog =\

  9. 10.29.2013

Hey Matt, not to get too nosy, but I’m assuming this isn’t the only blog that you run right? I know your operating this site through the use of 100% white hat techniques and natural backlinking, but you’ve got to be putting this vast black hat knowledge to use somewhere else right?

Keep up the good work everyone, hope to make my first $$ online sometime soon :)

  10. 10.29.2013

It’s great to see your earning is quite steady though you take almost a whole month break.
Also I am so jealous on how these blogs are growing, boosting continuously.
Hope I will be there one day.

    • October 29th, 2013 at 12:22 pm

Well I decided to drop consultation work (which provided huge upfront income) to focus on the blog (with the hope it would provide long term stable income) which seems to have worked out ^^

  11. 10.29.2013

    That’s a lot of money.
And now somebody will came and tell that there is no way to earn money online.
If these guys/girls can do it, everyone can do it.
Very nice post Matt, thank you! :)

    • October 29th, 2013 at 12:21 pm

Its true anyone can do it – a lot of the people I’ve met that are successful in IM don’t really know all that much about computers/the internet

  12. 10.29.2013

    Hi Matthew,
That you were away and truly could earn income is a cue everyone needs to take. Your income stream must be passive.

If it dries because you are not actively trading time for it, then watch it again

    • November 11th, 2013 at 10:24 am

Well I think you need a nice balance between the two :)

You are one year into your endeavor and already earning so much. I’m feeling inspired. I’ll stop reading so much and start doing!!

  16. 11.8.2013

Great post & great earnings!! This is a post that I will keep coming back to as I check out each of the featured blogs.
Interesting to see the traffic that PinchOfYum has been getting from Pinterest.

  17. 12.13.2013
