One of the most popular posts I publish are my income reports.
So I decided to round up as many income reports as possible and rank them based on earnings to see how I stack up against the rest.
If you publish an income report on your blog and would like it included in next month’s post then please let me know in the comments!
Here we go-
#1) ACoupleTravelers.com – $14,863.00 (+$1,430.00)
I caught up with Dave & Vicky earlier this month for a curry and few drinks so its nice to see them reclaim the top spot this month!
They took a month to recharge back at home before heading through England/Scotland with a trek across Nepal ahead!
The travelling duo have continued to invest in new blogs while reducing the number of partner blogs they rely on.
#2) GodOfSEO.co – $13,239.00 (+$8,712.00)
Charles see’s a huge increase this month as he pushes forward to take second place!
His guest post last month sent 1,700 visitors, 300 visits to his hire me page & over 100 enquiries making him $12,806 in consultation work.
But I think Charles is about to learn why I stopped taking on so many clients 😉
#3) PinchOfYum.com – $12,419.02 (-$1,016.73)
The PinchOfYum team have dropped off the top spot this month but still post some impressive earnings.
Fantastic to see the blog generating more than 3 times the amount of traffic from Pinterest as they get from Google.
Not as impressive as how much they are earning from their food photography & cauliflower sauce ebooks though!
#4) MatthewWoodward.co.uk – $6,503.01 (+$70.13)
I spent the first 2 weeks of September in Nicaragua and was in serious catch up mode after taking 4 weeks off in total.
Nice to see that income remained steady whilst I was taking some time off.
Unfortunately I’ve been ill for most of October and just doing the bare minimum – sorry for the lack of posts guys!
#5) LeavingWorkBehind.com – $4,259.00 (-$2,989.00)
Tom spent the last few month trying to do as little work as possible by working just 5-10 hours per week.
That has started to take its toll financially but more importantly he has started to get bored and feels unfulfilled.
We all need a break at some point and it’s great to hear that Tom is now fully focused on business development rather than just business maintenance.
#6) Moms-Make-Money.com – $3,708.27 (+$1,554.20)
Deby has had a cracking month posting her biggest monthly earnings so far by quite a margin!
She had similar traffic levels than last month but good karma came to her rescue!
She set up a free blogger to wordpress transfer service which has seen overall income increase throughout the blog.
#7) LostCyclist.me – $2,622.19 (-$448.26)
After Quintons record breaking month last month its a shame to see him drop below the 3k barrier again.
He has dropped off his publishing schedule slightly posting his income report a lot later than usual.
But he has spent time looking at why his best performing posts do so well and is looking to replicate that recipe in the future!
#8) TrueValhalla.com – $2,035.00 (-$3,069.00)
For the second month running Matt has taken a major month on month hit with his earnings.
But there is very good reason for that as he has spent time building something much bigger instead of focusing on short term income.
I took a similar approach at the start of the year dropping a lot of consultation work to build the blog further.
#9) AvocadoPesto.com – $602.00 (-$865.00)
This is ran by Vicky from ACoupleTravelers report and earnings continue to decline.
The team have been more focused on growing earnings elsewhere and taking more time to enjoy their travels.
On the flip side, Vicky is building a huge library of content that will become highly valuable assets in the future.
#10) My4HrWorkWeek.com – $459.50 (+$57.53)
Eric is one of our most diverse earnersIn Summary
Out of the 22 blogs I have featured in the income report roundup’s only 10 of them actually published an income report this month.
But that hasn’t stopped the 10 featured bloggers earn a total of $60,709.99 this month up from last months total of $60,023.73!
With only 10 bloggers featured it might be difficult to break the $70,000 barrier – but with me starting to get better and the big plans Tom, Quinton & Matt have over the next month we might just do it
I only include the earnings history of the top 10 blogs each month to make the graphs easy to read.
