One of the most popular posts I publish are my income reports.
So I decided to round up as many income reports as possible and rank them based on earnings to see how I stack up against the rest.
If you publish an income report on your blog and would like it included in next month’s post then please let me know in the comments!
Here we go-
#1) MatthewWoodward.co.uk – $20,963.73 (-$1,458.17)
Even though this time of year is slow in this niche I managed to keep my head above water.
Tomorrow I’m going to publish my next income report and I took a couple of weeks off so it will be interesting to see what damage that has done to the numbers.
#2) PinchOfYum.com – $19,499.76 (-$75.47)
The popular food blog continue to impress as time goes on.
What is interesting about them is how they have taken advantage of Pinterest to drive huge traffic to the blog with their tasty imagery.
They have also just increased the price of one of their more popular products as it has had some huge updates since initial release – I’ll be watching closely to see how that price change affects sales.
#3) Moms-Make-Money.com – $18,376.70 (+$2,831.90)
Deby just keeps getting stronger every month without fail recently.
In a period she expected to be quiet, Deby has seen her income grow steadily but this has come with some hard work alongside!
It is great to see someone doing so well in what is a bit of a strange niche – as long as you love what you do, you can make money with it.
#4) MakingSenseofCents.com – $15,396.00 (+$1,723.00)
Michelle has also posted a very good month as well with traffic better than ever.
Like PinchOfYum she is also having a great experience with Pinterest traffic by creating beautiful imagery.
Interestingly as part of my annual content audit I have been updating every image of every post on the blog, its 80% done so far browse through the archives and you can see for yourself.
#5) MyTanFeet.com – $3,905.11 (+$1,655.85)
Yeison & Samantha also had their best month so far with a superb jump in income.
They also attended Affiliate Summit with me & spent some time having fun around the states in the final stages of their travels.
Now they have landed back in Costa Rica ready to put a new plan of action in place to see them grow even more throughout 2015 and break the $10,000 barrier.
#6) TrueValhalla.com – $3,138.00 (+$500.00)
Matt has had an interesting month starting with a change of direction for the year ahead.
Now he is financially stable thanks to his HTML5 games development he is now looking to achieve a major milestone with a much bigger project that requires a huge amount of resources.
It is great to see so many bloggers taking new directions & moving forward in 2015 – join the club!
#7) DoSEOYourself.com – $2,484,.00 (+$225.47)
Jason has taken it easy the past month but still see’s growth.
He took some time out with his girlfriend on a couple of trips but did update the blog once this month.
Now it’s time to get back to work and he is going to produce another quality post backed up with some solid content promotion.
#8) DigitalNomadWannabe.com – $1,308.00 (+$267.00)
Sharon spent the first 3 weeks of her month travelling with her family.
She is keen to explore her new environment while she is settling in and the dot com lifestyle certainly helps her to do that!
This is the best month she has ever had and is looking to build on that throughout the new year with some solid plans laid.
#9) LifestyleUltimatum.com – $157.11 (-$279.63)
Andrea spent most of his time focused on client work this month.
This saw a drop off in blog earnings but while getting client work done he was also making a master plan to execute in 2015.
Now he has a much narrower focus he can make huge leaps forward on all fronts.
#10) MyRecipeBook.co.uk – $17.18 (+$35.49)
Charlotte is starting to gain traction with her blog after a huge traffic jump.
That also helped her post a small but encouraging profits and she continues to develop the blog in her spare time.
#11) OneHourProfessor.com – -$23.76 (+$599.60)
Ron has spent most of the month working on his own projects rather than clients.
Although he posted a loss he did see a nice boost in income overall month on month.
He has also started to take advantage of voice dictation software to ‘speak’ his posts rather than write them – interesting, might give it a whirl myself!
#12) DumbPassiveIncome.com – $-1,058.52 (-$2,945.67)
On the surface it looks like Matt posted a loss, but don’t be fooled.
January was very much a month of investment for Matt as he bought more physical stock to sell via Amazon which ate into the $4,223.31 profit generated.
What this does mean though is that in the coming months we should see income sky rocket while expenses lower.
It is great to feature the PinchOfYum team here again, they were truly missed last month and I was worried they might have stopped publishing those very detailed income reports.
That also means that the overall total made by the blogs here has jumped up from $62,257.29 to $84,163.31!
As we move out of the sluggish period of the year I fully expect that to break the 6 figure barrier again in the next month or two.
Although I’m not sure how much of a contribution I will be making to that given I took 2 weeks off, but all will be revealed in tomorrows income report.
I hate it when the 1st of the month falls on a Sunday, this is the second in a row now but I am committed to getting my income report out on the 1st without fail.
If you feel inspired to start your own blog then why don’t you start right now? It only takes a few minutes!
Get all of my income reports & round-ups direct to your inbox!
I only include the earnings history of the top 10 blogs each month to make the graphs easy to read.
